Hi Jon, I got the golden ticket and great sticker! Thank you! Hope to come up with something good. xx

  • Rebecca Guyver

Hi Jon, I have posted the front and back of your envelope in the photos here and also here:

    http://thepostalleger.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/jon-sends-me-golden-ti...

Do you care if I use the card you sent or can I use a white card instead? I love the brown card but I wonder if it will be a bit of a dark photocopy?

  • taidgh

Hi Jon. I hope you get my envelope.

  • taidgh

Hi jon, great to hear you got my post. I was a little worried that it wouldn't reach you. No need to be anxious that you'll piss me off - quite difficult to do. Sure one image per person is fine by me otherwise you'd have a very large tome if you had more than one image of everyone's in it. You can decide which one you would like for the zine. Have a great day.

  • Rebecca Guyver

Jon, I surprised myself today and sent you my COMPLETED postcard for your zine!

  • Susan McAllister

Great card, Jon. It's always fun to find one of yours in my mailbox. Thanks.
  • Keith S. Chambers

New Super Space . . . Thank you so very much for the card. It's absolutely fabulous. I especially like the comic book message, '. . . the best part about communicating is sharing!' So true sir, so true.

  • Raphael'L

Thank you, I am so happy to have received one of your wonderful card ! And with it, I will not forget :"never stop breathing !" See you soon on the mail.

  • Carina

Jon, got your wonderful card yesterday! Always a pleasure, thank you very much. Will send you something for your Zine, thanks for the opportunity!

Jon--thank you so much for your latest card--I like the focus on communication. Just to let you know that I intend to bind the postcards that you send me as a special display for the IUOMA exhibition in October. So if you send me 2 more over the next few months, it will make a wonderful compilation of your unique work.

Your card added to my IUOMA photo stream and will be blogged shortly at

    http://decordisart.blogspot.com/

Mail art will be coming your way soon.

Jon, Björkö is an island located about 40 km (25 miles) from Petsmo, Björkö has a very special archipelago and is inscribed on the UNESCO Natural World Heritage list ... took the photo from a lookout tower. Petsmo is near the sea but has not the same rugged terrain... Thanks for your interest Jon, and welcome to Scandinavia :)))

Hi Jon, I found three collages by Genesis P Orridge in a German mail-art zine from the late '70s. I think there's no question Genesis was in the mail-art network, at least at a certain point in time. I'll try to get them scanned and posted. They are... They are pretty much what you'd expect.

    Best wishes, DVS

  • Carmela Rizzuto

Hi Jon      I picked up your 2 postcards today (I've been on a 2 week hiatus). You can consider your promise to send me some mail art fulfilled--many many thanks!!! I'll be 'binding' what you sent and will forward a photo of the results.

These current postcards will be posted on my IUMA photo stream and on my blog            http://decordisart.blogspot.com/

Glad you like, I am having a lot of funny with the fold outs... remember them as a kid and mixing them with the cartoon images makes me smile.

meeah Williams reports Genesis P-Orridge is currently living in Brooklyn, NY & even doing gallery shows. Shouldn't be hard to get an address.

  • Amy Irwen

    Listened to "Nostrils"....what a hoot....loved "Bat Man"....

  • vizma bruns

Oh Jon, you're too kind! Thanks for the blog.

And now , some compliments for you...The Nostrils has been on rotation in my car  for a week now and I know the words AND sing along to many songs, with the window down, even though it's freezing. I sing and laugh! People stare.

  • vizma bruns

Yep, it's true. But now for some not so positive feedback...I took my car to the auto-electrical guy to check out...um, electrical stuff, and when I picked up the car he'd changed the Nostrils cd to radio!!! But I wouldn't worry too much, no point putting pearls before swine, that pleb.

  • Carmela Rizzuto

    Hi Jon

Dated august 30, 2013 there is a mail art call on http://mailartprojects.blogspot.com/

    “mail/art/book”

Artists are invited to submit work exploring the intersection between mail art and artists’ books, in whatever way, shape, or form that may take. Mail art, artistamps, artists’ books, and other artworks that can be mailed and relate to the theme of mail/art/books are encouraged.
I'd like to send our collaborative mail art book --I think it meets the criteria. I will ask Jennie if I can send it in a few days late, because of my display planned for 10/19/13.
