Thanks! Yeah, no mail today, but who knows, maybe they'll arrive tomorrow.

HI BF--I hope you received the last piece I sent. I found a square lid for Disorrono and it made the perfect stamp block, so two are mounted. I'm sure I will find another.  I will get something in the mail to you by the end of the weekend as today is my day to do art and little else.  I'm slow on inspiration lately

  • DKeys

BF--I sent you something either right before or right after I received the stamps. Seems the mail might be screwing up as KDJ sent me something that I have yet to receive. I will put something else in the mail to you. I think I know just the thing:)

  • David Stafford

Yes, that were me...I'm glad you liked it.

  • Kendra Given Carter

Haha! Lost in the circles of hell most likely, didn't show up yesterday. Also, if you smoke too much pot, you can send some to me. I wouldn't mind having some nice California grass :)

  • David Stafford

Thanks, BF...Look for my blog in a theater near you.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

Oh dear, either it is lost or it took the slow boat.  I mailed it on the 19th of February

Or maybe a bit too iffy for the US postal service?

  • Mim Golub Scalin

I saw that you offered someone perforation. How odd to put it that way. Sounds like body piercing! ha ha ha When I make my faux postage, I have a "hole" punch that is like a postage stamp. I've thought of using my sewing machine with a really large needle in it, but the punch works as long as I keep the image small enough for it. Happy Vernal equinox.

  • Eraser Heed

Wow! What a great stamp it became!!!!! Love it! Love Lynch too so this is a fab collab in all aspects! Yes I did that little queen/monkey stamp, one of the first but I find it hard to do paper stamps.

When I carve I do it quite quickly and it takes not more than an hour but the result is therefore not always that good. Although sometimes I nail them. I am a fan of Your graphic designs, very neat, spot on and funny with depths behind them. Will send something when the theme is right, but it might take some time as my family is fighting with the flu bugs right now.

Thanks! Going through my back issues of Rubber Stamp Madness I discovered I have an extra copy of issue #79. Oh Boy!

  • Eraser Heed

I totally failed but atleast I tried ;) What image do You mean? The profile picture?

  • Kendra Given Carter

Great! Thanks. I don't mind. Just happy you were inspired enough to use my picture on a postcard. Very cool, and can't wait to see them!

  • Kendra Given Carter

    But of course! :)

  • vizma bruns

No round mail, no square mail, no nothin' mail from San Diego...but I chucked some mail in for you last week, so look out!

  • Kendra Given Carter

No kidding! Yes, Billings gets cold. Two weeks ago we had a "snunderstorm" (aka the snowpocalypse), which started as a nice sunny day and within 15 minutes it changed to high velocity wind, followed by thunder and lightning and then heavy sleet and snow. Some days we get all the seasons in one.

  • Eraser Heed

    Bonsoir BF!

I like the new artistamp idea very much. Although it is a collab between You and E so Your names should also be in it. Graphically it maybe would be a lot on a stamp. I am at work this weekend but next week I'll keep on doing some drawing, can't wait..

No postcards came yesterday. Surely tomorrow. Weather here is pretty reasonable so not sure what the hold up is. Or maybe I'm on some sort of "watch list" and my mail is being confiscated...Who knows.

  • Kendra Given Carter

Postcards arrived today. They are marvelous! I can't wait to send them out. Thank you very much.

  • Eraser Heed

That is correct BF. Love the sharing part of mail art.

       Until later.

  • Kendra Given Carter

I don't know...thought maybe I should put up something more artsy. Are you horribly offended by it? Not sure if I like it as much though so may change it back.

  • Kendra Given Carter

    You win...

  • Kendra Given Carter

I think this would make an excellent postcard, yes? This is me at work at a funeral home last year. I'm going to school to be a mortician...

  • Kendra Given Carter

Splendid! I haven't seen that movie before. but I just watched a few clips on Youtube and it looks great, so I'll track it down. I also have that picture In color, I just thought the B&W looked a little more "serious"...

  • Eraser Heed

    Thank You soo much BF, they are a delight;

A stamp will surely be on my next mail to You...

Hi BF, how did it go with fixing your rubber halo?? Or did you just ditch it?

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

  • Kendra Given Carter

Oh! I put something in the mail for you on Friday. Keep an eye out.

  • ginny lloyd

Is this about artistamps? If it is can you post this with your stamps at the museum? So much for me to go through!

  • Kendra Given Carter

Hi! Yes, rubber stamp it if you wish and embellish as you see fit. I don't have any requirements, just thought it was a neat idea. Can't wait to watch the dvd! Of course no one here has a copy so thanks for that. I will share it for sure!

  • Apartis - MMA

thank you to accept our friendship (APARTIS - PORTUGAL)

  • Kendra Given Carter

Awesome! Can't wait to see them.

  • vizma bruns

It's just a rubber. What are you using to glue it to the mount? I use double sided foam tape.

  • Kendra Given Carter

Got your postcards yesterday. Nice job! They look great, thanks so much. Now...who to send them to...

  • Eraser Heed

Looking forward to that! Thank's! :)

  • vizma bruns

Your 'altar' ego died yesterday, sorry to hear about that...carry on the comedy!

  • Eraser Heed

Got a supply of stamps in my mail box, they will indeed be circulating. The excellent envelope frontside will soon be shown. Absolutely grateful!

    Niklas

  • Eraser Heed

"Bitchen" -heard that expression before only on Frank Zappas tune "Valley Girl"...

  • vizma bruns

HA! Exactly the image I'd pictured in my head! you simply MUST make artist stamps of that!!

  • Eraser Heed

  • Eraser Heed

Josefa Mendez was a Sister of an order (I have forgot whitch order it was (although not a witch order)), I took her image from the internet. Thought her calm looks would make me do a good eraser carving but I just got a worried feeling from her. Sure I would like a sheet of the Niklas Heed stamp but as I have had a lot going on the last month I'll soon keep up with al the correspondance, envelopes will eventually turn up in San Diego..

    All the best,

    Niklas

  • Kendra Given Carter

Sounds good. 30 minute wait at the post office, huh? You should just storm in there with your priest habit and tell everyone you need to send off food and medicine for poor, starving orphans in Nicaragua and they might let you go to the front. That getup has to be good for something...

  • Eraser Heed

Thank's BF, got Your letter today too, a very cool set of stamps that's gonna look good on envelopes going around the world.

  • Kendra Given Carter

I like the idea of a nun's habit/goatee combo. Classy stuff! Can't wait to see that movie.

  • Eraser Heed

  • DKult Chaplain Dustin de Wind

I did! I am getting it framed at my local hobby store and then I'll make a blog. I really like it; thanks for signing. It's fantastic.

  • Kendra Given Carter

Got it! I was in Denver for a few days so it will be nice to kick back and watch it after a horrendous 10+ hour bus ride.

  • Dean aka Artist in Seine

    hi,

Yes I was there in the old town for the 5th of May.  Lovely place, but it rained!  Of all days.
