  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Okay, Wolfgang, that was maybe too loooong a post
about PEACE! But we (talking with Wilma, too)
want to let you know that your art work and
photos are such dynamic and amazing statements!

Now, it is good to be serious with our art,
but SOMETIMES, it is good to take a break
and laugh a bit. So, please come and join us
at the group: "Cow Ears Muffs..."
It gets crazy at times :)
But it can put a smile on one's face!
    Agapi,
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    Thank you. Wolfgang!
Your photo with the goat is too funny!
It is precious, Wolfgang, thanks for putting a smile on my face!
Now, as Wilma says, come by the group "Cow Ear Muffs..."
it is a place where we tend to go crazy :)
    Just for laughs!
    Agapi,
    Katerina
p.s. wait, I'll send you the "sink-or-swim" cows
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    "Sink or Swim"! :)
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Your Black Swans are a beautiful inspiration, Wolfgang.
and here are their counterpart...and we are singing Nick Cave!
Know just one thing, "Love comes on a wing",
but there is always someone by our side,Wolfgang,
    whether physically or "in spirit"...
    we are never alone,
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Stars collide... and I spent every clear summer night
"getting lost" in the night sky under this swan.
    "KYKNOS"..meaning "swan" in Greek,
    (or Cygnus in star-gazing maps)
was right overhead with its brightest star: Deneb.
The star formation is often know as the Northern Cross.
It is where I chill at midnight, under the stars.
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Highest peak is Mt. Olympus, Wolfgang,
    Home of the Gods...
    "Love comes on a wing..."
Great stuff by Nick Cave and now, Wolfgang,
you have forced me to get the sound track from
"Winged Migration"! I have seen the documentary,
may even purchase the DVD! Thanks for guiding
    us to Cave today!
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    And the beautiful repeating refrain....
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    Yes, Wolfgang,
THAT is "majestic"! Thank you for sending that photo,
it really lifts one's spirit...what beauty! And it was nice
"singing" Nick Cave today, and doing a little of collage
    art, too...
    You keep smiling, ok?
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Catherine the Great, eh? not bad, not bad!
Time to do all those ordinary things...
tomorrow I shall fill your page with Leda and the Swan :)
    c.u. tomorrow!

    Wolfgand,
I do not know you selfportrait "fur Bruno"!
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Not ,never too long and not, never, too early, Wolfgang.
I am just now getting to my computer, afternoon already!
Thanks for that, a long thought-filled message.
and I loooove the blue light in your photo. You are a true
    artist with a camera!
I am enjoying the rabbit and the bananas on your page, too!
    We are smiling today!
And Wilma is going to have a great show tonight.
    It is a GOOD day!
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

The ancient Greek Leda holds her swan, (really the Greek god Zeus)
but I am NOT going to be serious about swans today.
We are "going bananas"! Thank you, Wolfgang, for making it
    a fun, laughing day!
  • Ptrzia (TICTAC)

    .
    Hi Wolfgang!
lol...means "laugh out loud"... a small version of a big laugh!

Peter's sense of humour ...indeed :-)

cheers and sunny day...here cloudy but we'll do our best with it.

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    KALIMERA Wolfgang!
    "Blues" is good...sometimes.
Tis the color of my Aegean Sea...and the color up above,
when the grey clouds part and blow away. Tis the color
of my tall Greek grass, and someone's butterflies...
    Blues is good, my friend.
It makes us appreciate and love the smiles
and the lol laughter, and the good-feel times.

    I am "blinded by rainbows",
    (ah, those great Rollin Stones!)
and I usually try to"find the sunnyside of life"
    ...even when blue.
    You, too, please.

I will send you now some Greek sunshine,
    to chase your blues away....
I cannot scan any pics or montage images
    this weekend because :)
I am at my seaside shack with only my
little laptop. Be patient until Monday, or Tuesday,
    to see pics from me.

    But KEEP SMILING!
(and posting your great photos !)
    Love ya,
    Agapi,
    Katerina

    KALIMERA Wolfgang,
'sending you greetings from the seaside. For some reason, "summer" has returned at the end of September here in Greece! After weeks of grey and rain, now we are blessed by warmth and sunshine! I am sending some your way on this lovely Monday!

I was immediately interested in your photo for today...what motion!
what emotion? Is there a story behind the image? Your art/photo work
    really speaks a thousand words!

    Art keeps us smiling!
    Agapi,
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    "The Last Battle", Wolfgang?
Well, at least you had a chance to bike-it and get all your
worries out on the road along the canal. Now I understand
the yellow&black markers, the sports-t-shirt! If it was here
in Thessaloniki, yellow and black would be for the GREAT
Harilaou soccer team: ARIS (name means god-of-war, Aris=Mars)

Anyway, I sympathize with you on the results of your elections.
And here in Greece, we shall have our elections on this coming
Sunday, October 4th! Let's see if I shall cry, too?

Now I wait to see the other photos that you will post from your bike trip.
I am so happy that you have sunshine. Here at the seaside, it is
beaming, and warm, and I don't want to leave and go to the city!

"Wish you were here". We could sit under the olive tree
and speak about the rich getting richer, and we poor getting
    poorer!

    Take care,
    Agapi,
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Wolfgang! I just saw your cow pic at Wilma's page! :~)
Are those "yellow" tags (ear muffs) on "black" cow ears?
    HaHaHaHaHaa! You have me laughing..lol
  • Terrence Boggs

I'm doing this due to fact that galleries here ignore that form of art as well as other's. Just wrapped a miniature show which as never been done here. The group sponsoring this event is a British group that has ties to the other 40 international groups. That will be the guest list, people from all over the world.

Good morning sunshine! Goten morgan Wolfgang!
You are up and posting early in the morning.
Thank you for the great Foto des Tages, that is color
on a sunny morning as I open my computer. Very nice,
dear friend, and the fishing boats are here, too, at the little port
    of Kallikrateia (my seaside village).

Great sunshine today...I may never return to the city :)
Although the weatherman is saying rain and cloudy for
Thursday and Friday. That will be good because I really
should go back to the city and do some work in
    my office at the university?...
    or not?

I am sitting under the olive tree, sipping a cup of tea,
with you and Wilma! One day, someday, we'll just
    have to get together.

You have a nice day, ya hear!
    Agapi,
    Katerina
  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Of course WE will win, Wolfgang!
The internet and the media, TV, etc...are easy to control.
All we have to do is "shut off"!
I am thankful to Bill Gates and the WWW because we
can now communicate with people all over the world.
And there is so much positive energy that we can send.
IF things go bad, or if they try to manipulate...well, then we just
    go "off"!
And now I send you more Greek sunshine, as it is a lovely
September day. I am going "off" to go swimming soon.
Then do ordinary things, like cook, eat, take a Greek siesta!
    You have a great day!

    Thank you for the photo...
is there a way that you can send your photos
"low resolution" ...low jpg? Because my little computer
does not download fast, and i wait so long to see your photos.
Maybe it is the resolution at IUOMA and it cannot be changed?
I do not know too much about such computer things!

Have a great day my friend!
    Agapi,
    Katerina
