You didn't forget to put Smith, I found his web page straight away... oh, Dean was probably too busy looking at your mother to take notice of all the details you'd written!?
I'm going to try my hand at stamping colours today, but using the same stamp...I'll send you any good results. Thanks again for the info..and here's another lovely arse for ya.
I have 1000s of mail art pieces from 1980 forward. When I saw your name recently... I knew exactly where your suitcase piece was. Not too many other items in my collection have that recognition.
Anyway, back to rubber...that stamping info makes it a bit clearer, thanks..dunno what a stamp positioner is, something like a jig? But I do have a light box, which may help. Masking bits off, ok, I can do that...I'll get back to you. Thanks again!
Yes! I saw that case, is that actually stitched leather? Looks fantastic. Amazing what one can make during potpo sessions, if capable of anything at all! I don't use anything except pain killers! But I like doing meditative or repetitive crap where you get into the zone and end up makin something brilliant, like your suitcase. Nice work!
Yeah, I saw the tube blog, and that bottle gram is very cool, can't wait to see the pics of the contents! But I reeeeally can't wait for your mail!!! Very, very very excited about that!!! Weeeeeee! What oh what will I send you back? I'm workin' on it!
About the potpo in Cal, is it all over the state, or just Venice Bch? I heard that Venice has become a really dirty craphole since it was legalised there.
Glad you got the card I sent. The rubber stamp "licensed mail artist" is a favorite of mine. It inspired Dean Marks to create his own "unlicensed mail artist" logo. We license ourselves to create and are blessed by doing so.
AAAAAAAHHHH! What IS that?? A depressed Humpty Dumpty in an agave plant!! Ha ha ha!! Yikes! You'd better not be making that into artist stamps!!! Eek! Too funny!
Are you serious? Nooooo, really? I'm gonna laugh myself off my wall and crack my noggin if you've really sent those! Oh man, I need to fill up my red wine cup!!
Yes, I am a Nick Cave fan. I got into him on a long roadtrip in the middle of the desert. It was the perfect music for such a ride. Never seen him, so I'm quite excited for the show. And yes, I did receive a card from you just yesterday, thanks so much. Something coming to you as soon as I make some new items.
Thanking you profusely for the fantastic stampaganza!!!!! These are just perfect and really are a highlight of my week. Seeing the padded envelope in the mailbox made me so happy. Now I can offically document and certify all my found objects thanks to your holiness. I vote you for Pope!
HeyHo BF!! Golly gosh, thanks for the ARTIST stamps, wow, edition 2, I feel so spesh!! They arrived today with the Giro stamps too...who is Giro?( I know it means turn but is that some velo riding hero?)
Oh man, I really have to thank you for the extra stamps...AND the super stampings on the card!!!! What the...?? Are they your stamps made in my honour?? I just ordered a shitload of half price stamps from Viva Las Vegas stamps with my last pennies, so I'll make a book of them for you soon- then I'll forge some stamps to send them.
You said you'd make artist stamps for anyone who'd wear a real octopus on their head, right? I have a candidate for you...seeya next week!
Of course I trust you on that one.."The wait will be worth it". It always is from you!! And any mailing with rubber enclosed is the best kind! No, that sounds weird...rubber stamps enclosed.
And you're asking me if I want anything else added??? Isn't that enough!? Thanks! Too generous already! Well, maybe a birthday blessing...I'll be 44 in 2 weeks, eeek!
OK, OK, OK, OK! You don't have to rub it in FOUR times!! Anyway, let's just say I'm 43 and I still play with rubber stamps!!! At least I'm finally aware that Santa is just the fat drunk with halitosis from down the road ...you wouldn't get me on his lap for any amount of rubber.
I see you received my mail. Hope you enjoyed it. Your postcards are still MIA. I'm sad every time I unlock my box and nothing is there. Hopefully they will turn up soon.
No postcards today. Strangely I've only received one piece of mail so far this week, not even junk or bills. Usually I get more mail, may be a hold up on my end...or they found their way to hell, in which case, damn them.
