I was amazed too! You sent it out of Canada on Monday...and it was in Greece by Friday! When i have sent things to Quebec, it has taken three weeks! And even some mail art to a city about 300 klm.awya here in greece just took 12 days! Maybe there are super fast Greek-Canadian charters out of Ottowa direct to Thessaloniki? :-)
Anyway...sure is fun having all your HEARTS!
    Happy Valentine's to you, too!
  • Shivablack

thanks for your valentines mail art! where do you get that sticker font from on your love letter journal? its really cute!
  • Samantha Bragg

your teeny envelopes are adorable! Do you make them yourself? I was looking for more info on your project but only saw the pictures! Which, made me think from seeing all your pictures.. maybe your into photography as well? Bc you take great artistic pictures for someone who isnt into photography!
  • Rosa Biagi

    See you soon
  • Penelope Harris

  • fi webster

Thanks! It's been a great day for mail-art day supplies: I got rubber stamps, stickers, and postcards!
  • Samantha Bragg

You carved those stamps yourself? I didn't even know you can make your own stamps that's awesome!!! I actually started making little envelopes way back when I got your first mail art piece as inspiration. They were never as cute as your or as professional looking but they worked for me.. mine are all uneven and different sizes when I make them do you ever get that problem? They all look very proportionate from where i'm standing what did i miss?
  • Kim JungYoun

Thanks for your nice picture! :)
  • Samantha Bragg

ha i didn't even think of that! I made one tonight but just when i thought it was even after it was done .. one side was crooked! haha i'll have to look into micheals more i've been there numerous times but always get lost looking around and never leave with what i went in for! But then again I try not to spend money on something I can make myself.. maybe i'll try that template thing I hope I get it right this time haha
  • Samantha Bragg

thanks i've found a lot of cool stuff template wise also, I think I may have found something! It's a dymo 2 manual one... I haven't gotten it yet bc i'm still looking lol

    Good morning , Kalimera jennlui,
    good week...Kali evthomada...
and good new month ...Kalo Mina!
Well, lots and lots (and i do mean lots...)
of teeny-weeny-itsy-bitsy things are in the mail to you today.
Wonder when they'll arrive? I had to put them inside a regulation envelope
because the Greek post office said the itsy-bitsies were too itsy-bitsy to pass the machines, let alone get hand cancelled! :-)
Of course, i spent my time doing all that, and a few other things for mail art calls, and I have yet to settle down and work on "secrets" and use all the lovely pieces for mail art that you have sent me earlier.
Well, not a problem.. I had great fun with itsy and bitsy,
many thanks for such a great idea!
See ya, lots and lots, in the mail.
    agapi,
    Katerina
  • Marianne Elson

    Hello Jennlui :)
Thank you sooo much for the wonderful Valentine's Day letter and heart! Super! I'm sorry it took a while to thank you...all kinds of issues with my computer lately (total rebuild in February.....yikes!) But I wanted to let you know I got loved the mail art and I loved it :D
  • Flocking101

    HI Jennlui,
Just letting you know that sent your postcard today. You should have it in a week or so!

I've put up a post on the blog at http://flocking101.com/2010/01/25/on-travels-in-time-and-space-or-p... that explains the process a little. There's a link there that will take you to a page that has scans of all the cards that have been posted with a little explanation of each. So if you're adverse to spoilers, you might want to avoid that page until you've received your card.

I'd just like to thank you so much for being a part of the project. It's been quite an education for me, and I hope you enjoy your card.

Any problems or questions at all, just let me know.

    Cheers

    Maz

I am working on some more tiny stuff...'tis lots of fun actually, and I get to reuse/recycle "left-overs" from cards and other art work. Hope to have something in the mail for you this week..in the hope it arrives before Easter? Whenever.
    See ya in the mail!

    Katerina
