Hi Suuze, thanks for joining, have a search around mail-artists tend to be an entertaining, chatty bunch.
Must get on with the video... I'll make more tea before I begin.
greets
Thanks for the detective work Suze. I fell in love with the plant at first sight. Beside it was a red variety equally stunning.
Yes the 40 Sparrows living in my garden do tend to have a taste of several plants on the terrace, the Aloe has taken a right old nibbling and the other day they were all chewing on Liz's Eygyptian mint.

Too busy to get in any serious bird watching but on Sunday i saw 8 Kievit heading South, but they were not in any hurry. I heard on L1 this evening the weather will change next week. How is it on the other side of the Province, it is incredibly dry over here! The Woelmuisen have gone only to be replaced by camels!
greets
Well my Sparrow population and the Blackbird and Koolmees all seem to be OK. Yes I know they say don't feed the birds but if I don't feed them they are going to go elsewhere anyway! I change the water in both the birdbaths daily. Did you see my video on Vimeo?
I spent two hours forking over the potato patch today, it was completely dry, even the weeds are struggling!
