Around 2 a.m. Greek time is nice afternoon in the USA for my relatives and friends thar, so oftenIi get on-line just to check emails, etc. And me stop by IUOMA too, that's when I saw the hundreds and hundreds of messages from the spammer...but happily, our fearless leader , Ruud, has already cleared the network of this spammer. Now...on to the crusade of fighting other windmills?

I would love to blog it, but am having a major fiasco with my camera and am not allowed to have a scanner because my cats break them by sitting on them and pushing the buttons over and over. But I haven't given up hope of being able to do so in the future. Still--DK

You have a good point V, I will take a vote later. Right now they refuse to speak to me until I feed them. They appear to be organizing some kind of Occupy movement but let's hope it's a peaceful protest.

Whatever a person does to document a show is valid... but, most important to most mail artists is the list of participants!  That's how we find each other without online help so, if you're stuck in the 80's, please don't leave out some form of participant list sent through the mail - perhaps along with the touristy postcard...? - but in an envelope so the list can be included.  Back in the pre-internet days, the participant lists were the lifeline of the eternal network and I still believe in them now as much as I did then. ;)

I've just joined IUOMA recently and have read your profile page (purely because I like your hat/beret) and I totally agree that I don't want to see beforehand the mail that has been sent to me, so I have given my tiny group of friends the option of having a sneak peek at the mailart I have sent them if they can't wait for the mailman to deliver. If you look at my profile there will be no letters for you so  you won't be disappointed! I think you should write to me cos I have a cat too.

Vizma is a very ancient Latvian name meaning Sparkle, like the sparkle of sun or moonlight on water, and Bruns just means brown...

And here is Pinka! She's pink. I can't for the life of me work out what she reminds me of...

Ha! I don't even drink beer, how Unaustralian is that? And my initials VB are a very famous beer, Victoria Bitter, not that I'm bitter. I won't be changing my name to Newcastle in a hurry...but Sparkling Champagne has a definite ring to it. Perhaps that shall be my nom de plume starting from today? Yes, it suits me.
