hi Test...all your fantastic work is always welcome anytime!
i have been busy too and not always doing mailart as you well say...life is our simple daily task of great complexity, indeed.
hope this finds you well. by next week something will be in the mail for your cool fluxus project, i still have a couple of deadlines to battle this week ;-)
We got your postcard! I've got it up in the Photos. Just love that theme, how you play with it is marvelous! Thanks again for the nice welcome! I'm already planning a response to you myself.
Was the bathing beauty side of the postcard you sent me just recently printed via inkjet? Or are you using a laser style printer? I'm curious cuz I have an inkjet and want to know if it would work for my own postcard in reply.
Believe it or not, I wasn't so much steamed as maybe overprotective to one team member. Lots of upheaval that week, particularly in the partnership area here. The dust has settled and all would appear to be back on track for all. We are relieved, naturally. It would do my heart good to know whether a certain person to whom we did apologize was feeling better about it, but that may take time. *sigh* I don't care to repeat that stress level again all year. In fact, I think we can skip it altogether.....
Now, on to happier topics. I'm glad to hear you are using your inkjet as the printer of that postcard's back side. We didn't wish to spoil its looks, and so refrained form testing it with a drop of water. Look for me to send you something in the next several days. As we are catching up and hope to be better equipped to share here within the next few weeks, you might receive a little bonus at some point for having so friendly and calm a manner while upset reigned. :)
Thanks so much! I had no idea it could be that simple!
Now, if only I could get the right formula for creating new art that is downloadable, and have it stay the same size as when it got made with PSE8! (aaiieeee!!!!!!!) (sound of me committing "harey-carey")
:P Sometimes I wonder at myself....... (dribbles drool down chin onto sweater)
In order to make up for my mail art quietness 3 envelopes on their way to you :-) Best Regards to Fluxus Isle, home of exotic creatures and all manner of questions x
Look in your aol email acct for something new and hopefully of the right format. (If it isn't, please let me know--I can cook up a better batch, so to speak).
Thankyou, Test Tower, for my most wonderful postcard!! I will look into the FLUXUS event - thanks for the lead! Keep your eyes peeled - something is heading your way! :^)
Hello :-) You know the song circles of your mind?? Anyway a few of us are getting together and giving an interpretation/comment on it - see my blog on Katerina's work -want to join in?? Same booklet format as Alexander. By the way, do you have the one from Australia?
Oh, dear. That printer of ours really did give you an off tone! It drove us crazy--me in particular-when nothing would print clearly enough. Again, a technical issue.
There are more things coming your way, tho', so be ready! I've a few bits to bring together beforehand, but already have a few things in mind. And no printers necessary this time!
HeyTest--would it be an imposition to request our address remain hidden on anything you post of our mail? Iy would help us keep a handle on how much we are to receive. Your help is appreciated. And thanks so much for your feature of the Polar Bear Postcard.
"See the love with the weirdness" :-))
I believe in the power of coffee – but you couldn't have been more clear than that. Going to get something on the way to you as soon as I can translate this into art....

Hi TT, how are you? DIgging out from under winter like me? I picked up your Fluxus Affair-IUOMA piece at the PO today. Man, that is a great one. I don't know how you get those popping colors. I'll post it at IUOMA for sure. Thanks for putting my vispo on your blog some time back. You made that thing look way better than the original. Regards, DVS
Oh, you flatter me Mr Tower! Speaking of souls, "E" has a call out - she wants you to send her your soul. I would send mine but we're having a postal strike.

Good morning HeeBeeJeeMan :-) Here are the words: - GREAT that you are joining - thank you - will send a confirmation email shortly :-)
Like a circle in a spiral
like a wheel within a wheel
never ending or beginning on an ever spinning wheel
like a snowball down a mountain
or a carnival balloon
like a carousel that's turning
running rings around the moon
like a clock whose hands are sweeping
past the minutes on its face
and the world is like an apple
whirling silently in space
like the circles that you find
in the windmills of your mind
like a tunnel that you follow
to a tunnel of its won
down a hollow to a cavern
where the sun has never shone
like a door that keeps on revolvoing
in a half forgoten dream
or the ripples from a pebble
someone tosses in a stream
keys that jungle in your pcoket
words that jangle in your head
why did summer do so quickly was it something that i said
two more verses - but thats enough for now??
