I love mail that doesn't ask for money, pitch credit cards or summons me for jury duty. I'm amazed and grateful for all the generosity of this community.
(Note: my website is under construction).
Hello back from Maine, Nadine ~ I used to drive through Raymond all the time on my way to a tailgate auction in Bridgton. You might like a card out of my studio here in Maine; you're on my list for this week.

hi, i picked you for one of my zombie book read & passes.
you up for reading/arting in a book and passing it along?
if it's not your thing i can send to someone else.
Wow, I am impressed! I justailed that Tuesday, I had mail take three weeks from California before!! I have not received your card yet but I'm sure its not cheesy. I am so glad the box found a happy home! That was my second altered altoid tin:) have a great night!
unless you're talking about the "read & pass" book, in which case there's no real requirements at all; a very low-maintenance project. i send a zombie book (like an actual book, with ISBN, etc) - a purchased book. you read / draw in / whatever you like to it, and pass it along to someone else who has submitted art to deadmailart.blogspot.com; the most expense for this project will be a one-time media rate forward fee. ;-D
Nadine, thanks for the asemic chapter! I have a special fondness for graffiti so the pages are right up my alley. Really like the found photo too! I've been trying to figure out a way to personalize the pages and I think you've inspired me. My pages to you should be in the post by next week.
Oh thank you so much! i love this little owl box, its like a mini treasure box! the necklace and stones are wonderful. I love the white one it looks like a miniature work of art:)
i looked it up in my comic price book, and it was in fact worth several billion dollars. but you're right, now it's completely worthless because you cut out two squares!!! ;-D
Nadine, I received your card yesterday. I love it so much-your illustration is so engaging and I hope to hear more about the story of Meeksa. You should write it as a children's book it would be fabulous. Thank you!
Hi Nadine. I received your post card today. Thank you for being quirky. So fun. It gives me permission to show my other side too. Hope you receive the card I sent to you on Saturday.
you could self publish it at LULU.com I know I'd buy it. Your illustrations are excellent. I wrote a cartoon series that was originally a graphic novel, then adapted for what was to be a radio show. It fell through, but it also is about a cat. I had someone else illustrate as my drawing skills aren't that great. Can't wait to see more of your series. All the best

i believe amazon lets you self-publish in digital format as well,
i don't know much about it, but i've seen people's self-published books for kindle on there.
Nadine, glad to be your friends, i love rubber stamps, i do not start too long too, maybe half year, but then i am totally into it. hard at first, but will have more fun then:)
Respected Nadin Thanks big for a huge estimation of my creativity. For me it is very important. As you estimate my products, it is the big responsibility for me and I will try to do henceforth even more interesting things, yours faithfully Svetlana Pesetskaya
I received your asemic pages - beatiful book !!!!!! Thanks =)
An interesting hobby you have. I love the idea. I'm sure there is a large variety of people in LA to search through, but how you present them in your pictures makes it yours. Have fun.
Cool that you've been through St. George. We moved here from Indiana about 1 1/2 years ago. The weather is nice, and it was a bit more affordable for us. The Virgin River runs through St. G. Have you been to Zion or Bryce in Utah? If you like, check out our flickr site, and you'll see what we've been doing since we moved out west. www.flickr.com/photos/rutherfordsharon
Keep up the good work. Thanks for being a friend. Sharon

Bonjour Nadine! Many thanks for the collage card with the crazy beach scene on it courtesy, at one time of henri Cartier-Bresson -- my favourite photographer; Oh! If only I could do such things with a simple camera and black and white film! I'm not sure that he'd approve of you 'improving' his photos, but who cares? I'll be mailing you something back at the end of the week; hope you are having a good summer. Regards, le Tour de Val (who vey nearly got arrested last Sunday when he 'liberated' a Tour orad sign from a roundabout)
Bonsoir Nadine! Many thanks for sending me the superhero Zombie encycloepaedia stuff. I've added something to it, and will be posting it one later this week. I hope that you're having a good summer; Regards, le tour de Val (who very nearly go arrested on Sunday for 'liberating' an official Tour de France sign from the race course -- after the race had passed, I must add.)
Nadine, cancel all I said about filing and organization. Your idea for yourself of starting files to save things you want to send to particular people -- that is suddenly happening in my studio. Your idea slipped into my head and took hold. How powerful you are, aren't you? Thank you for the idea.
Nadine! 2 or 3 days ago I received great things from you! I will be blogging them as soon as my scanner gets well. By the way, your handwriting/printing is an artwork in itself. Every time I look at it I think "HOW does she DO that?!"
Bonjour! Thanks for one of the weirdest collage envelopes i've received over the years. there's some crazy stuff on it -- toes with and without fungus, Glass Slippers (do the princesses turn into pumpkins at midnight?), and a scary, really scary court summons. Wow!
I'll be mailing you something back later today.
Thanks again and Bon Weekend, Regards, JE Sweefoo/Val
Hi Nadine, thank you so much for the wonderful postcard! It is great, I have to smile every time I see on my desk! And you are one step ahead concerning carving stamps, I want to try it too! I'll send something to you soon ... ;-) I love being your IUOMA-Friend! Svenja
Dear Nadine, I've sent something to you yesterday, but I was so excited about it (;-)) that I completely forgot to write anything on it or in it, no greetings, nothing. So please find here: Greetings from Heidelberg, hope you like the mail! Best, Svenja
Hi Hadine, thanks for letting me know that at least one of the cards has arrived safely - pretty quickly as well. I'd appreciated some scans for the register when convenient. It looks like the "duplicate" has baffled the postal services again. If nothing arrives by the end of next week I'll have to try something else. Pity, since I quite liked the design of the missing pair. Cheers, John
Yes, do take a second look, because it's very interesting and artistic. School-taught penmanship never took with me, either. I sort of half-print, half-write, and it's all pretty scraggly. But yours is beautiful ~ for example, what's with the "E"? The three horizontal lines and no vertical. I love that!
zombie read & pass coming your way.
