Wow, I am impressed! I justailed that Tuesday, I had mail take three weeks from California before!! I have not received your card yet but I'm sure its not cheesy. I am so glad the box found a happy home! That was my second altered altoid tin:) have a great night!

unless you're talking about the "read & pass" book, in which case there's no real requirements at all; a very low-maintenance project. i send a zombie book (like an actual book, with ISBN, etc) - a purchased book. you read / draw in / whatever you like to it, and pass it along to someone else who has submitted art to deadmailart.blogspot.com; the most expense for this project will be a one-time media rate forward fee. ;-D

you could self publish it at LULU.com I know I'd buy it. Your illustrations are excellent. I wrote a cartoon series that was originally a graphic novel, then adapted for what was to be a radio show. It fell through, but it also is about a cat. I had someone else illustrate as my drawing skills aren't that great. Can't wait to see more of your series. All the best

i believe amazon lets you self-publish in digital format as well,

i don't know much about it, but i've seen people's self-published books for kindle on there.

An interesting hobby you have. I love the idea. I'm sure there is a large variety of people in LA to search through, but how you present them in your pictures makes it yours. Have fun.

Cool that you've been through St. George. We moved here from Indiana about 1 1/2 years ago. The weather is nice, and it was a bit more affordable for us. The Virgin River runs through St. G. If only I could do such things with a simple camera and black and white film! I'm not sure that he'd approve of you 'improving' his photos, but who cares? Bonjour! Thanks for one of the weirdest collage envelopes i've received over the years. there's some crazy stuff on it -- toes with and without fungus, Glass Slippers (do the princesses turn into pumpkins at midnight?), and a scary, really scary court summons. Wow!

Hi Hadine, thanks for letting me know that at least one of the cards has arrived safely - pretty quickly as well. I'd appreciated some scans for the register when convenient. It looks like the "duplicate" has baffled the postal services again. If nothing arrives by the end of next week I'll have to try something else. Yes, do take a second look, because it's very interesting and artistic. School-taught penmanship never took with me, either. I sort of half-print, half-write, and it's all pretty scraggly. But yours is beautiful ~ for example, what's with the "E"? The three horizontal lines and no vertical. I love that!
