Enjoying your "on-the-road" 365-art through Ohio, Indiana...you went to ATHENS! Great cards, Mim! And many thanks for this beautiful watercolor that arrived in today's mail! It "feels" like French fields and landscape! Lovely!

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Checked out your blog today, it is always so nice to see what you are up to.

Great bird-with-a-word collages! Just three or four elements? Amazing!

Thanks for posting Peter's book...his name in Greek is Petros Nikoltsos ( I am NikoltSOU because it is the possessive case for the females.."we are owned by...")

The gal who is the author of the book is Soti Triantafillou (her last name is the Greek word for : "rose"..literal translation: 30-petals!)

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

It's MINE! That "ATHENS" card was sent to moi? Yes! Came in today's mail...Monday is a GREAT Mail Art Day! Thank you so much, sweetie...it brought sunshine on a cold, drizzly May day. And it sits on my display easel, along with Chuck's card! Love ya both!

  • PIRO

    Hi Mim

There has been a misunderstanding about the Katrina papier mache statue picture ii sent you. The statue was not made by me.  I took a picture of it at the museum when i visited the exhibition.  Hope you can fix this at the page. Thanks.

  • PIRO

    Hola Mim:

    Todo esta bien ahora.

    Muchas gracias.

  • cheryl penn

Hello Mim :-) - the comment I posted in the format discussion - I hope it makes it clearer?

A4 paper is standard size computer paper - 30cm x 21cm. This is folded in half -which yes, gives you 8 sides.  How you choose to fill those sides - up to you.  Each of your sections form a new chapter in the book. Should you wish to cover the WHOLE area, PART of the area - up to you.  The work is YOURS.  Is this any clearer? :-) ??

    Hi Mim my Fellow Mentor!

This is the message that I am sending to all new IUOMA members in 'my month of June.'

    Dear Mim ,

    Welcome to IUOMA!

It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor,  and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.

Would you like to exchange some Mail Art with me? If so, send me something to 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France, and I PROMISE to send you something back.

Hoping you enjoy your IUOMA days.

    Regards, Val Herman

I've sent it out to about 14 people so far, and heard from about 6 of them. it all seems to be going well.

    Regards,  Fin de Circle

hi Mim! Please urge Dean to becaome a SMARTperson. His special type of wackiness would go dfown a bomb with the Calendar SIS & BROS and an interchange between him and superhero would be fascinating to follow.
