Thank you Austin! The card is perfect. I think you must have a 6th sense on music.
  • Jen Staggs

Thought of you today while driving down 67 and jamming to Madness and Save Ferris. You dig??
  • Karen Champlin

    is it dark? please
  • Karen Champlin

No, wait until the darkness strikes. We both know well how that comes about. I look forward to your plain old magnificant work.
  • Karen Champlin

    I must prepare.

  • N Bedford

Thank you for your warm welcome

  • Karen Champlin

You have a real talent for creating rubber stamps!

  • Jen Staggs

WOW!  A Grown-ups postcard just made my week!! Thank you!!
  • Jen Staggs

I CAN'T BELIEVE you have heard of the Grown-Ups, let alone OWN their cd!! That is so rad, I can't even tell you.  I wore out the cassette tape and found a cd at Half Price Books last year.  So great to find a fellow ska head.  And your site looks really cool too- love the background with your painting.
  • Jen Staggs

I bow to you oh captain my captain!  Ska Captain!
  • Laurence Roberts

    That's great.
  • Karen Champlin

It came today Austin!  You are psychic!  Very cool.
  • Amel Djenidi

    Hi Austin!

well, I'm eager to see the result! :)

  • Karen Champlin

Austin, It is so amazing!  I'm Blogging it today.
  • Piccadilly Post

Thank you for the awesome card and the music to go with it.  Always grateful to those who broaden my view.  Have you seen the 2005 documentary "Why We Fight"?  Maddening and depressing, but thought-provoking.  Your card and music brought it to mind.
  • Laurence Roberts

Thanks Austin - you didnt have to do that- but now I know I can't wait to see it !  :)

I am still in touch with the musical inspiration you brought me ...

    Cheers

    Laurence

  • Piccadilly Post

I googled "Sick of Lies" and found the vocals on YouTube.  I'll have to go back and look for a video of his; I love to watch beatboxers in action.  Had heard of MC Xander  before today though don't think I ever listened to his music.  Thanks again!
  • Jen Staggs

Still amazed you know the Grown-Ups.  Thanks for the cool purple piece- looking at it in the light shows some neat paisley patterns in the deep background.  Very interesting multi-layered piece.
  • Jen Staggs

    !!!!!!!  (Clonk!!) (Jen falls over.)
  • Bethany Lee

received your postcard. Love the color palette, thank you!
  • Piccadilly Post

Thank you for the incredible two-part card.  You have no idea how much I needed that song this week.  You are amazing!
  • Karen Champlin

YAY YAY YAY to all!!!  I've missed you.
  • De Villo Sloan

Yip, thanks Austin - a tall building for the art - but more important - Talking Heads! "This ain't no Mud Club or CGBGs. I ain't got time for that now." Made me think of that. Thanks for bringing the Talking Heads back to my unfocused mind. Hope you are well.
  • De Villo Sloan

I was wondering where you were. Glad you are back. We all need to get away for a while. I have my darkness too. But glad you're back and sending out again. Thanks for the piece you sent me - perfect as ever.
  • Poison Label Productions

  • Poison Label Productions

  • jon foster

Got your card today...thanks so much. Always good things.
  • Jen Staggs

Ha!  Yeah, I thought of you the minute I found that sticker.  I wish could take credit for creating it.
  • Piccadilly Post

I had not heard "The Fixer" until your cards arrived.  Sad to say, I haven't really listened to Pearl Jam since college (and that's 10 years ago now, yikes!)  I really should seek out some new music from my old favorites.  I love that you link your art and music.  I used to, too, but now by the time I get a moment to create, I'm usually grateful for quiet!  Thanks again!
  • Pamela Ashby Campbell

Thank You very much, I look foward to it. I will get you one made and in the mail today.
  • Wendy Barber

    Hey Austin,

How goes it? Just got my laptop fixed and back online. I'd like to send you a card if that's ok with you.

    Cheers!

  • Kris Naylor

Hey! Thanks a lot for the postcard! I love the colors - way cool!
  • Piccadilly Post

Wow, that's intense.  I'm glad music offers some additional relief.  The arts are truly amazing.
  • Karen Champlin

Austin, your ATCs are FANTASTIC!!!  You made them like an old timer.  Love the extra buttons :-)  When you have time a CD would be appreciated.  ATCs are on their     way to Dallas!

    PEACE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>k

  • Test Tower

    Hey Austin,

Was just looking at your profile info and saw Jerry Garcia is a big influence on you. Me too! I grew up in San Francisco and used to see the Dead and the Airplane and Quicksilver in the Fillmore and other places around town in the late sixties and early seventies. Anyway, nice to know there is another like me out there. I have a lot of live bootleg Dead shows - let me know if you would like some of that. Jerry picks his way into the outer stratosphere!  Cheers, Test

  • Michalis Kotsaris

    Many thanks Austin! My best.
  • cheryl penn

YAY! That will be my first from you - thanks Austin :-)

  • Poison Label Productions

no problem on the picks dude...i got more....they are all used by famous musicians...except for the "F&#k Off" one - that one is a custom from a guy I used to work with....i used to be a stagehand...
  • Sharon Silverman

Thank you Austin for mailing me some of your artwork. I am looking forward to receiving it in the mail and adding it to The Face of Jesus Exhibition.

    Best Regards... Sharon

  • Karen Champlin

Austin thanks so much for the cool desert card.  I LOVE the itty bitty flowers!  So Cool!
  • Jen Staggs

Much like Star Wars, Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal, the Muppets played a pivotal role in my life...I like to think I modeled my psyche on Gonzo.
  • Lesley Magwood Fraser

Thanks Austin for the back to front yppaH yadhtriB wish! I am loving all my new IUOMA mates....
  • Jen Staggs

Awesome!  I went this winter too- though I was sad to see the Star Wars Experience was closed for renovation.  You got me thinking today- I need to go back and watch some old Muppet Shows - I catch so much more of the adult humor now.  Greatness.
