Collective book of mail art.


Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.

Do you like mascaras? This was my suite case,when I coming back from Mexico.Hay mucha sabiduria en el arte popular.Un abrazo,Graziella.

I live more than 20 years in Mexico,It's so big and so plenty of culture, that was really difficult to coming back to Europe. The putrefaction of the old continent is on the top, but I just take again the habit!!!!

Dear Paulo, I always desire to know Portugal,I'm really curious. I hope soon. The few times I was in Veracruz,Mexico, I love to dream in front of the Atlantic Ocean and think what are doing the people in the other side, and try to make an "espiritual" bridge and connection.Now I'am an european again, and in this special social network of mail artist, perhaps I found a bridge that is not only mental ,but also more efective and practical.In a short time I hope to go for a while a Mexico, If you want to take a trip and visit,let me know,I'm a very good indian guide,specially for the biggest city of the world, the Distrito Federal, that is really in all sense !too much!

A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

Limit
border between earth and water,
the river harbor and the trade routes,
the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
artistic and architectural influences,
mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.
