So glad to see you on the Crimson Giant project! BTW, did you ever receive the 2 MA pieces I sent you about a month ago?
  • Bifidus Jones

glad you got them. sometimes people don't get my stuff and my concern is that they feel forgotten or ignored. I do wonder where the undelivered mail art goes--besides the island of misfit toys, maybe there's an island of misfit mail art...
  • EFTICHIA PETALA

    i like your art
  • cheryl penn

Evening! Feel like swopping aside from book?

  • De Villo Sloan

Hey Austin, just have to get yours to the PO - can't believe we've let it go this long - I'm looking forward to it
  • cheryl penn

Hey Austin - please see my blog - a good lesson learnt from Bifidus and see if you can give us some clues for the code???
  • cheryl penn

Good morning - I am posting today - something from my blog The World is a Town. How many cats own you??
  • cheryl penn

My three are heading for one less too - very sad. Cool names! Stay well.
  • Steve

Hi to you too. Hope I can contribute here
  • cheryl penn

YES! Yay the envelope arrived!! Its for you - I await your bit with excitement.
  • cheryl penn

That's it - that ok?? I am posting a blog now now for a new book - a one off contribution - hope you do that too - everyone will end up with a book from all over the world after that - but yup, same thing, you must copy it 7 times (I hope you will give me the original??) and post to the other participants - Librarian on the Loose - Elaine, Tania (!), Erni Bar (Germany - are you friends?), Marie (Japan), Jen Staggs, Bifidus, and of course yourself.
  • cheryl penn

From the photos I can see I think your work is fantastic - I am looking forward to getting some!! I posted you a section of The World is a Town today - would be great if you reply to that - I have a blog on it somewhere on my page if you are curious...

I got your postcard a couple of days ago. I will scan and upload it soon, and send you something back. How did you know my favorite colors are greens?
  • Carmelleta NP

Time to get out my scissors and glue. Yippppieeeeeeeee
  • cheryl penn

Hey Austin - how are you??? Have you got my inbox notes??? Hope so - hate for them to be lost in the ether...
  • jon foster

Yes sir, I'm pumped about your card. I am working on a bunch of stuff this weekend and plan on sending out sometime at the start of next week. I look forward to your artwork. Thanks so much for thinking of me.
  • Jen Staggs

Cool! You should have gotten something from me recently, I mailed it out last week!
  • Jen Staggs

I've been searching Dallas for a pad of watercolor paper postcards like you use- Where did you get those?
  • Jen Staggs

Oh- cool! My family lives in Midlothian, so I go down 67 fairly often. I'll try over there. Thanks!
  • Karl G. Siewert

Wow! That's generous of you. I'll send something back!
  • Jen Staggs

Yeah, I tried the one on Lovers, that's near my apartment sorta. Asel is AWESOME, but really expensive. I'm probably going to make my own paper, I have a deckle and some cool ideas. (Though I can't to that for the Alexander project, too many copies to make. that would take years.) And the sticker- even better, it lives on my desk where mail art is born! Thanks again! and keep an eye on the post, you should have something soon. (It really should have been there by now, I'm kinda worried it was eaten!)
  • cheryl penn

Hey Austin - a Dallas contingent to Alex's army - FAB idea!!
  • Jen Staggs

COol! But don't send anything too sentimental- I'd feel bad if you parted with anything! Nickname: BossTin?
  • Kara San Miguel

thank you for welcoming me here in IUOMA! and also for adding me! :D take care!
  • Jen Staggs

Meant to comment on the incense dust you add- I'm going back to smell the mail now! What a cool addition.
  • Poison Label Productions

r u kidding with the GD question?

I worked for them for a few years organizing the recycled can patrol..
  • De Villo Sloan

Incredible Austin (1) you got it that fast (2) Scarlet Begonias has been my favorite for more years than I can remember. OK, that, that is amazing. I didn't know if anyone even knew it.
  • De Villo Sloan

Dude - I xxxxing sware, I never looked at your Facebook profile and I don't do Facebook - have an account but lost the password long ago. I don't need to explain to you anyway. "The sky was yellow and the sun was blue" - no need to explain. It's understood. Perfectly. This mail-art thing, I tell you, it's a bunch of people all across the world thinking the same things. No one would believe it.
  • Poison Label Productions

    Sweet dude...
    super excited!!!
  • Jen Staggs

Thanks for the Disruptive Pattern/Lips/Rosy Skeleton card! Going to listen to Bosstones 737/Shoe Glue now!
  • De Villo Sloan

Hey Austin, I think the coupons do count as mail-art. One time I was going to post an oil change coupon that was with the mail-art in my mail-box. I'm sorry I didn't. Sometimes when I'm sending people an envelope, I'll throw some junk mail in. Coupons might actually be helpful. Nobody talks about this, and I think it's an issue. I've had a few times where I thought junk mail was mail-art. Glad you brought it up.
  • Lilac Girl

Hi Austin, I got your Peace MA Thursday! Thanks so much! I'll be sending you something soon! Lilac Girl

  • Courtney Prudhomme

thanks same to you! I am new on this site and not sure how to jump in.. do they have organized swaps or do you just randomly pick people to send stuff to?
  • Courtney Prudhomme

so is it general protocol to send a piece of mail art back to someone that sends one to you??
  • Courtney Prudhomme

oh and thanks! can't wait to get it :-)
  • Courtney Prudhomme

True!  I love doing postcards and whatnot.  Thank you for being so helpful :-)
