  • De Villo Sloan

Hey Bifidus, Katerina - I don't know her, guess you do - was talking about not being able to get Elmer's Glue in, is it, Greece. But maybe she's covered. Thanks for the info on customs - I get nervous with that stuff. Nice to be able to talk to you. DVS
  • Valentine Mark Herman

Dear Bifidus, I'll send you an envelope later today --DONT open it, because there is nothing inside: the art is on, not in, the envelope. I too am a Hundertwasser fan. Look at my website www.val-herman-art.eu under the heading 'Collages', then 'Works', and half way down you'll find 'Friedensreich Hundertwasser lives here'. Regards, Val
  • Valentine Mark Herman

It's Val again! The Envelope is in the post -- it's Frog Art, and i hope you like it. Regards
  • Snappy

It was interesting when DVS asked for some sort of explanation from me (you commented on the blog) about the work - the voice of the artist accompanying the visual voice - BUT I will let you know before I blog it - WHEN I GET IT! so that you can see my interpretation before it goes international!! Thank you for participating - I really appreciate it.
  • Richard F. Yates

  • Marie Wintzer

Got your card yesterday Bifidus, thanks so much, love it! Something has been sent to you at the same time!
Haha, I'm french but a very bad speller. Much worse than you. Your comment on the "Ambassade" made me laugh a lot :-))))
  • De Villo Sloan

Hi Bifidus, yeah - oh man I'm bad - the African flu is going around. Heck, yes, I would love to be part of a Hapatic group. This place is really a poetic goldmine. I was remembering how Ginsberg had The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics and maybe we could come up with some good name to describe what we're doing generally on the poetic side. Codescru (spg?) has been stuck in my mind since the day you brought him up. I can appreciate his wry, detached way of looking at the literary scene - but if the noise ever clears around here - I'll tell you about something he got in the middle of that wasn't so funny. Count me in on Haptic - I'd like to see some work of that nature produced too.
  • Marie Wintzer

Ok Ok, je vais craquer un peu plus alors...
  • Valentine Mark Herman

    Thank you/merci beaucoup/ bedank/ dankescholn/grazie/gracias, etc! Val
  • jon foster

Word, I'm glad you're into humor, been looking for these folks for a while.
  • Marie Wintzer

    I can't gambatte anymore....
  • Marie Wintzer

You're welcome desu. Right now I'm thinking about those japanese cookies poetically called (and shaped like) Collon (at least they added an L). Maybe you've seen them.
PS: it's high time for a clue!
  • De Villo Sloan

Dear Bifidus, I have just now been able to give your further thoughts about the haptic group the attention they deserve - having somewhat recovered from my alchemical meat poetics rant, so inspired by you Marie. Of course, I ultimately defer to you on all matters haptic - but am pleased to provide feedback as your honored first recruit-convert. I was immediately drawn to your "shape to shifting singularities" construct as some kind of guiding theme or even a manifesto. Makes sense that temporality would be built in. My own desires would involve (1) knowledge of what has been done and (2) to actually see haptic creations from members - that might not be fluid enough - but basically I'd like to make some of this stuff when I think I have a handle on it. "shape to shifting singularities" already creates something.
  • cheryl penn

Hey Bifidus - I sent you another section of the book today - now I will have to make more for everyone - just because your pages whispered, then called and then yelled and the only way to keep them quiet was to provide some sort of answer to the clamor of symbols x
  • cheryl penn

Hello - DONT wait for protocol - I want to see!! Thank you for blogging my card x
  • cheryl penn

P.S. The reasons are: by the time the pages get here, I will be old and grey, the Crimson Giant will have left for an alternate performance in another book and the closed note might say Abandon Babel.
  • cheryl penn

Ok - But they get here last and I will be VERY old and grey...
  • De Villo Sloan

Classic post you made on Erni's board, Bifidus. A break from haptic studies?
  • Larned Justin

Thanks, glad you got a kick out of it.
  • Marie Wintzer

Bifidus! I got your Giant yesterday, thank you! The envelope was badly damaged but it somehow made it through with apologies from US Mail service. The book page is safe though.
  • Karen Champlin

Thanks for asking Bif. Zena has marched bravely into our home (with a huge dog) and set up house. She is very into people. She like to walk across my lap top when I'm on it. She's just with me all day! I really love it! She even comes when I call her. Good Cat. I hope you
    liked your piece.
  • Tomoe N
