Exchanging art through the mail is a great way to connect internationally with others on a tangible and soul-full level.
Current interests include: the Hall of Bulls, illuminated manuscripts, owls, Jeanne d'Arc, Don Quixote, La Divina Commedia, maps, Greek deities, Matsuo Basho, Vingt Mille Lieues Sous les Mers, astronomy, frogs, snakes, the Sherwood Forest, petroglyphs, Louise Nevelson, Magritte, and Shakespeare.
Glad my little something arrived. I'm trying to figure out how you get that wonderful washed look on the postcards that I see on here. Is it ink?
peace,
madmadge
Your mail art arrived. Thank you! I love the antique quality of it. I can tell that you used an acrylic medium on the front. I am trying to place the architecture. Ravenna? It's been awhile since my last art history class. I also love what looks like the giant peach amongst the planets. And whom is that white bearded fellow on the back? What a great way to start the weekend.
OPA,Bifidus...that was also the name of the Greek song for the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday in Oslo, Norway. Greece came in 8th place out of 39 countries, not bad. OPA!

Hi Bifidus,
Received your card a few days ago.Love it!Yours is on the way. I have been working on deadlines for regular art shows. Another one due June 15. Always great to get your cards. Take care
Thanks for the super "arte postale" - I received it a couple of days ago and shared with my studio mates: applause all. You'll be seeing me in the mail.
ciao, ciao,

Hey Bifidus,
Be on High Mail Alert! Something inviting you to FLY WITH US. You do not need a ticket. Just get on board!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you on the flight!!!!!!!!
Hi Bifidus many thnks for sending it. I t was a great surprise to get it ! Thank you. I have it on mantelpiece. It's very striking , bold and spirited. Not been too well. Sorry not to ahve responded before now -or responded better.
Hey Bifidus,
I see that the little gold dragonfly lost one of her wings. I will be sending you a replacement. Sometimes we loose our wings in flight. Oh well, we can always create new ones. Keep a look out!
I'll get a piece in the mail for you this Friday. I like to work for 2 weeks and then mail every other Friday. Man that sounds so anal!!
Oh well....glad we're friends.
Would you like to trade your firstborn for my firstborn and a set of triplets to book....plus the added bonus that they're all teenagers! You are most heartily welcome!
Left a comment, but it seems to have left me. Something about you needing to moderate answers.
But what I believe I said before it was probably lost in the ether world, I mentioned that I have a first born, and a set of triplets to throw in for our trade off. You get the added bonus of receiving four
kicking, screaming, parent hating teenagers. I call it a Crackerjack ARTicle 4, C-sectioned, prize in your mailbox. I did stick my nineteen year old in my oversized mailbox when she was eighteen months old. Had someone take the photo and I mailed it to my friend Ray Johnson. He sent a card back with his comment over the photo, "Love that Kid!". Ray sent her a birthday card once. I think Lauryn was one of Ray's youngest members of the New York Correspondance School. The legacy lives on now that Lauryn is creating Mail Art with passion. She received two big mailers today. Zilch for Crackerdad!
Thank you for watching You Tube. It is just short film taking with my camera. Thank you for looking at my painting. I was just disappointed I sent it to some contest and did not win anything. Please check again.
Hey Bifidus,
Thanks for the new piece,as always it is very intriguing. I have been crazy busy. Two shows opening the same day, TV interview and 2 receptions this weekend. Missing sending out my mail art to friends. Look for something before the end of this month.
