Collective book of mail art.


Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.

I just read a post on the Fluxus Blog that said a re-exhibition of ABAD could be coming to Montreal. Do you know anything about this by any chance?

I received your card today, the sentiments you mentioned below are going right back to you! There is a homey tactile feel to receiving something in the mail... are we dating ourselves? One day the USPS will be quaint history. The circular patterns behind the trees are especially lovely. I will post on my mail art blog soon. xx mt

I'm not sure what time zone this blog is in... it says 4:25 am on Dec 15 but Here and Now it's 6:31 pm on the 14th... No matter at all because fluxus is always "now".... I'm just appreciating that today.

I use http://www.vistaprint.com, they're fairly inexpensive and the custom upload interface is simple. They also run a lot of deals and freebies (like rubber stamps)! I go between sending reproductions, adding to the reproduced art and send a few originals from time to time. It's all good! Happy New Year!

Of course! I go to Bergamot Station from time to time.. I'll be retiring from my 9-5 this coming June so expect to have more time for more things... these days most free time is devoted to my studio. Looking forward to the transition. Best- mt

My son, a photographer, asks how you did the print-out of the old photo? It is transpaent and silver...very intriguing! Many thanks, it arrived today along with a colorful envelope from Spain.Good Mail day!

am dropping a "note to self" piece in the mail as soon as i'm well enough to be going out, probably monday...it my not be immediately evident that the inside of the envelope, itself, is the artwork, and that all the flaps will need to be opened out to reveal the "note"...thanks for hosting. fun theme!

thanks for looking for it mara. i have been too sick to get out to the post office and mail it off. i'm feeling much better today, however, and should be able to go out either tomorrow or friday. will give a holler when i can get it mailed. it should only take a day or two to arrive from northern arizona. being sick sucks...

oh, no, mara. while 20 miles to the east of me there is no home mail delivery, the mail carrier comes to my box daily. i would like the piece to have special handling though, and for that, it needs to be carried to the post office in person. small town post office, they LIKE it when i show up with mail art. makes their day, in fact.
