I love your mosaic techniques!
Yes, I am especially interested in the corresponDance kind of bunnies by Ray Johnson. But I think I'm ready to move on. Which is kind of a big deal.
So, I will just say I am interested in all mail art.
Thanks for accepting my friendship!
hi rachel!
i rec'd your atc's today, what a nice surprise! and your statement on your homepage is one of the reasons i like to do mail art as well, it is so great to send stuff out and see what, if anything, comes back...its like an artistic -message -in-a-bottle in a way, throwing it out into the world and hoping that it get to where it is supposed to.
anyways, thanks so much for your lovely photo atcs i hope to be sending some stuff out soon. do you like traditional type atc's or are abstract atc's ok for you? i do mostly abstract art, so just let me know your preference.
greetings from california

Hi Rachel, Did you ever get any mail art from me? I sent something to you quite a while ago. Let me know. If not, I will send another right away! Your friend, Test
Rachel,
Thank you for making up for all the crappy swaps I have ever participated in during my past lives. Two ATCs and a postcard - the later a tribute to Jasper Johns? Wow. You give good mail art.
Best, Maya
I received you postal art last week, I love it! The seagulls are amazing! Thank you, I will try and put it on my wordpress/send you something back as soon as possible. I have been really busy working towards my exhibition at the end of May, which will include everything I have received for my postal art call.
Howdy...
Ya! thank you lots!.. I like your work alot... I paint and do some collage.. I use to have a crow named Eddie.. I just opened this page and am still " figurein' it out"..lol
Thank you! thank you!.. I love the work you sent!
Your work is amazing! the cutting and Re-asembage of the photos realy transends the image. The work becomes so much more textural.. like quilting and poetry together.
Hi Rachel!! It was such a joy to find your beautiful art in my post box and specially when you made it from the Wichita Old Town photos that I liked so much.…you are so kind!
Thank you!!
I am working on some mail art to send you next week!
Go ahead Rachel, I am quite happy if you do. The fortune cookie is a digital manipulation of a picture of mine and I also use it as a stamp on envelopes/postcards.
Take care
Patrizia
Hi Rachel!
Behind the beautiful look of your cards there is indeed a lot of work but worthed, the results are great. So nice of you, I’d love a reproduction. Thank you…Have you thought of making stamps out of some of your work?
I know what you mean, computers are a blessing simplifying lots of work but sometimes…sometimes… I would like to throw mine in the lake…:-)
I love making stamps and also experimenting with the concept. Not having a perforating machine refrains me from making real stamps out of my experiments.
But in the meantime, I use templates with dots that give the idea and keep a record of my work. Sometimes I use pre-perforated paper. Now I managed to find one for triangular stamps. Actually you can make stamps of any size or shape, apart from the classic ones. Have you checked the Artistamps Creators Group in IUOMA?
So much creativity going on there.
Your mini collages stamps sound really interesting. Oh!!! Now I get it!!! I just realized that you sent me some stamps on the envelop with your work???!!…I thought they were official post stamps! I was puzzled by the mosaic look….good it came out in the conversation!! I’ll post them on the blog with the rest of your work!!! You should sign them they are beautiful!!!
Hi Rachel!!
I received your beautiful bubbles for my call!!! Thank you so much!!
And specially for your thoughfulness...I love your work on the Lake Superior and the stamps/stickers you sent me are just amazing. Both versions look great. I posted also the envelope, too nice!! (I just put the stamps on top of the customs sticker that was covering them )
hola rachel! received your mail art today and super loved your photographic collages! thank so much!!! will be sending something out for you real soon, in the next week... see you in the mail and so so nice to connect with you! jennlui
