Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: I like communication, art, paper, painting and concepts. The ideal combination for doing Mail-Art. Worked with rubberstamps as a child and started sending out letters as soon as I could write. Discovered that it was called mail-art in 1980. Have been discovering ever since and in the last years also promoting this free cultural exchange.

Thanks for putting the video up Ruud, I struggled against Internet dropouts for three hours last night trying to upload it.
I have a question:
What is the best management policy with my laptop battery? Do I keep it plugged into the mains whilst I am using the computer or should I run it from the battery until the battery is almost empty and then plug it in?

Dear Ruud,
Cd I promissed will be on it's way this weekend, can't get to the PO prior to that. Mother-in-law ill with cancer, my wife is in Florida and I have to rush home to let the dogs out to avoid any accidents. Once again sad to hear of your brother's condition, card on its way - it's a card I've had for 20 years waiting for the right time to mail.

Woah! I just made a terrible mistake! Purely by accident I clicked on Sign Out and for ten minutes there I was out of the union! It means I lost all my vids and pictures and won't be able to replace them until I'm back home... that was a heavy experience!

Thanks Ruud, I was wondering what should become of the blog. It was a satisfying thing to do and I have become quite addicted to putting the photos up each day, I shall miss it. I have put your name at the top of the list of people who will get a CD of photos. You are not the first person to suggest it would make a book but right now I have to prepare for two exhibitions, one in Reykjavik and one here in Maastricht at the Bonnefanten Museum.

Are you recovering from your family tradgedy? I must go up to Meerlo (Limburg's Meerlo) and see how they are getting along with life.

I was wondering if you have a picture or pictures of Jos (maybe alone, maybe together with you, when you were kids or as recently as you might have a photo) which you would share with us? When and if you have the time and the inclination - no hurry. Ruud>>

Also, I wanted to tell you that the letter you sent to me in February just today arrived! That's really slow, like the letter I sent to Hong In Young in Korea which took 3 weeks longer than another I sent to AnticHam just a day earlier. Sometimes the postal system, as much as I love and depend upon it, is mystifying! :)

Thanks so much for the stamp sheets and the big TAM sticker!!! We had fun with Obamicons, didn't we? :)
