The MinXus-Lynxus collaboration with Ficus Strangulensis has produced some interesting vispo collabs (now called Shotpo). Participants include Marie Wintzer, Diane Keys & Shakespeare. Documentation will take 4-5 M-L blogs. Here are the first results:

that piece from me is by Musicmaster and John M. Bennett!

  • De Villo Sloan

Nice to have a Musicmaster gracing this humble stream, as there is a unique asemic-image style.

I used to think Musicmaster was Blaster Al. I once must have thought everyone was Blaster Al & one person was responsible for the sacking of Western culture, whereas it might actually be possibly a half dozen people.

Ficus, Diane adiaV, red cabbage =WOW!

  • De Villo Sloan

Welcome, Karen. I am thrilled you found your way to the group.

Vaida, thank you for posting the beautiful work. Those are the first asemics you've done I recall ever seeing.

My view is that we all do asemic writing as children, even before we learn "real" writing. Are children imitating the writing they cannot read?

This deep rooting of asemics in us is part of the magic and allure. I also suspect it is deeply psycho-analytic.

And when the theorizing gets heavy, it is good to remember: "So simple a child could do it."
