I agree with Katerina, Rosa’s contribution to Asemics 5 are stunning! Silenced me for one hour or so> Made this during the weekend and called it Looking into the sun asemics, particular is that it was painted on yellow cardboard paper.
I am VERY much looking forward to Rosa's # 5 - looks grate - thank you for posting Guido. I see JMB got a bit and MomKat got it all - # 5 - another winner! :-) X
Dear friends i have received 2 more asemic books, but this period i am quite busy with exhibitions and openings, so i have no time to post the new received mails, but thank you all!!!!
Hello here again :-) - I am TRYING to tie up this project - I think some of you did not receive Maiska van den Heuvels asemics. It is a match box filled with paper slithers, each hand done. I have taken these two photographs so that you can have a record - for those of you who don't. Asemics # 5 - Mary Ann and Yvonne - any movement on your asemics? I think by now you would have received everyone's copies? I am hoping to put these on exhibition - so PLEASE!!!
Just bought a new book on the frottages by Henri Michaux (exhibitions in Toulouse and Geneva), great stuff!! Here is one image (bilingual catalogue French/ English)
Isn't it a beaut? My scanner won't show the light color properly--it's a light green that's slightly luminous. Better than the white you see here. Perfect.
Nancy’s piece = birch bark. Similar example received from Marilyn Dammann in 1998 (personal delivery mail from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Brussels, imagine that!)
That one isn't my birch bark, Katerina--it's in photos somewhere--but Guido had mentioned receiving the one he posted below last century. (Don't you love saying that.)
I'm glad you posted Lindall's to you, it's fabulous!
i'd like to show you what a received from Fabrice Riviere, Belgium...not a iuoma member.
it made my brain race...it's a wonderful two-piece of poetry first of all, then it has the many readings that touch various forms of visual poetry..haptic,etc.
Thank you all for your kind and inspiring words! Sometimes my art feels so 'forced' but these pieces have really just flowed (or is that flown!) out of me.
The Elements piece is very interesting indeed...and an interesting co-exploration, as it were: I am currently working on a hyper-media/text piece ["web art"] called "Elemental," which is also based upon the Table of the Elements.

Thanks JMB, much appreciated. And thanks for sticking with us through this thing. Cool shot Sue!

That is a beautiful piece from Susan McAllister that you got Guido! Wow!
And Nancy, would a tiny piece of birch bark mail art make it to Greece, ya think ?
I bet "wood" products would not make the Greek postal clerk too happy...I wonder if? :-)
