Received cat+ mail from Katerina and Roberto today. Lovely both are! Possibly will wait for a week to check the POB cause the central post office is open in the morning only on Monday but the full day next Friday (I inquired about that today: I might need to post a few cartoons next week). They aren't open on weekends anymore (Used to be open on Saturdays until 7.30 pm, POB section excepted).

   Re: Cat Men, I have always found them to have more dimensions of mind and heart.  Some cat men: John Lennon, James Dean, Mark Twain, Marlon Brando, and rather a lot right here in IUOMA  also.

   [Abraham Lincoln] was very fond of cats...stumbled upon three kittens that were homeless and orphaned during the Civil War. He found them in a telegraph hut, and started asking the locals about their mother but when he was told that the mother cat had died he took it upon himself to find the kittens a good home.

Roberto, Kemal, Fleur, chaosatlanta, and Angie said they received CATchup, anyone else? Me just taking inventory and hoping the "cats" arrived in the USA  ahead of Irene.( I don't suppose the "red splash" smells of ketchup..CATchup anymore?)

I wonder how Roberto is doing in Puerto Rico.  I think Irene barreled through there pretty aggressively.

Katerina, I did receive your delicious CATchup card, and left a comment on your page, last Tuesday - gotta get myself some credit here!  :)  I didn't smell it, but will do so asap, and report back!

I am a slow-poke, yes, plus I am making individual cards.  Can't help it - too many ideas for that word!  Thank goodness for the "mail on or before Sept.1" rule....

Diane, Storm is beautiful!  His twin's name is Seamus (even tho she is a girl.)  I posted a picture of her here a few pages back, but really, no need to look at it, 'cause she looks just like Storm!  We think Seamus is also at least part Maine Coon, since she has the ear tufts, is vocal and friendly, and is very smart!  I want to send you some mail art, so will include more info about my little love bug in that.

While you are waiting, you may want to view the fantastic Cat People films, from the 1940's, if you haven't seen them already.  Cat People (1942) and The Curse of the Cat People (1944).  Simone Simon, who plays the leading character, adds much mysterious ambiance with her exotic, beautiful Serbian accent.  Now, don't expect sweet, domestic kitties in these films - oh, no! 

Received Elizabeth's beautiful "CATtus Confundo" today!   Who is that lovely feline, looking all confundo'd?  "Pondidia" - that is adorable....

I was careful not to give it away, for those who haven't received it yet!!  :)

That's so sad about Tara, Roberto! I'm sorry that lovely sweet cat is gone.

Viviana, I haven't gotten your Cat+ piece yet. However, we've been having a long holiday weekend in the U.S., with no mail delivery. When it comes, I'll post here. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

Yes, Confuse-a-Cat (Cattus confundo) is easlily run together with L's " cata-comb."
