For National Cat Day, you'll have to send a card to everyone who participates in it -- so far we have, including you and me, 6 people -- but I'll try and get more involved. O man! The pressure is on, but I think I have something. Between Alexander and Catland I am ready to pop. Did I have a life before this I have to wonder??

You MUST have had a life -- the questions are was it a better or a worse one, and why was that? In 2 weeks I'm going to the UK for 10 days and then will only have access to a computer at the local library for 30 mins/day, so will have to be very careful as to how I can use that on-line time, not just for IUOMA but for other things, too. In addition, my partner returns back here soon (from Paris) and I won't be allowed to, as she describes it, 'Play with my scissors and glue and envelopes all day'. And last for Her Return, I'm going to have to do some serious hosework -- but NOT YET, so back to the glue, scissors and envelopes!

Mimi must be very well trained, unlike Bianca and Trouble whose lives go along the following lines: wake Val up before dawn and get him to feed us and let us out/ roam around the neighborhood for an hour or so making a nuisance of themselves/eat/sleep/wake up for lunch/check out the neighborhood/sleep/scratch some furniture/sleep/have a pretend fight/sleep/have supper/go out for one last play/sleep. Repeat ad finitum. Meanwhile, I'm the snip-cut-paste merchant around here. Repeat ad infinitum

This is my cat, we adopted her from the street... Well to say de true I think she adopted us :) hahhahaha
Now she sleep with a pillow in her bed, before my wife put her a pillow she didn't want the bed.

Hi Freddy! We were adopted too, by a Siamese cat aclled 'Trouble' because that's what he causes sometimes, but after 4-5 months he is a fully integerated member of the Herman Household. Regards, Val

That's very interesting! It was supposed to be called the Cat Group, but I messed up the registration -- you will now by now how good I am at computing. I'll ask Valerie (?) if we can merge the Groups (and then worry about how we are going to transfer all the names). But for a day or so, I'll see what other responses we get.

Dear Snooky and Angie, I don't know about you guys, but I'm drowning in IUOMA messages -- there are too many to read and I can't do any art stuff. Out of this came my desire to simplify things and move to one Group rather than two (I have also de-registered from about 7 Groups and am now no longer following many discussions). The ikon was created by MariaF -- and you're right, she needs to be consulted about its possible fate. Yes, of course this is a democracy, and dogs have as much right to express their opinions as cats -- however, whether anyone will listen to a bark in the wilderness is another matter, but that is always the case in a delocracy. Bonjour again! It's a free world, especially in IUOMA and everyone can, of course, do what they want to in as few or as many groups as they like. I was only trying to 'rationalise' things as I saw them -- after taking advice -- but if I misrepresented what people want, then I apologise.
As i) it's a free world, etc, and ii) I'm going away for a couple of weeks and won't be able to follow this properly anyway, then iii) I'm leaving both Groups for now, and iv) will decide which one(s) to (re-)join when I come back next month. Biancn and Trouble will fnd it difficult to manage without me, but I am sure that you will all do very well indeed. Good luck! Regards, Val
