I picked up my mail on Saturday (the 6th) and there were summer greetings awaiting me from MomKat! It's time to celebrate the Greek Mail Art Wave.

She also sent an "Eat Art" card. Every season is cookie season ... enjoy!

Today the Celtic festival of Samhein was celebrated, the time of the Autumn Harvest and the start of the Dark Season. Some of us still do, I brought in the tomato harvest, all 5 of them!

May Autumn be beautiful!

This is a beautiful watercolour sent to me by Heide Monster. I am so lucky!

In my latest batch of mail art: a translucent envelope from Katerina Nikoltsou. She created two cards for me on August 22nd. It has always taken awhile for mail to get to the western U.S. from Greece, but at least we can still trade mail art.

One of the cards featured one of my blue cat stickers, so I posted it in the Cat Mail Art group.

The second card celebrates the fresh fruits of summer and I love peaches! I've had fruit pizzas but haven't tried peach pasta yet. I'll put it on my list to try next summer. Enjoy!

Not enough snow for a snowman so I made a...

I picked up my mail yesterday, and there was an envelope containing Nocember* greetings from Mail Art Martha! Inside were a letter, a mini-zine called Royal Pranks, issue number 20 of The Foldi, and Winter Solstice greetings. My post office is in Oakland's Chinatown, so Lunar Year of the Tiger is a big deal around here. Thank you, Martha!
