Especially for my friends in the southern hemisphere: here's a postcard that I sent out in January 2013, and it features two photos of a winter-flowering magnolia tree.
I have a set of four summer-into-autumn postcards that are ready to send out. I took the flower photos at the Garden Center at Lake Merritt, in Oakland, California, U.S.A.
I recently made a set of hanging tags that feature the flowers of late autumn. Each one also features a semi-precious bead or a small gold ring. Here are two from the set:
I have a new series of small postcards that are ready to send out, and they feature blue skies, a tree full of catkins, and a variety of early spring flowers.
I'm working on a new set of postcards for spring. A couple of days ago, I took a walk at a nearby lake, and photographed the garden and wildflowers in that part of town.
In my post office box today: a colorful new "Greek Autumn Mail Art" card from Katerina Nikoltsou. It's a sturdy card, a cut-up from a painting on canvas with tape additions.
Thank you, Katerina! I'll get to work on a "seasonal greetings" card for you.
How do I post a picture here, a painting celebrating the coming of summer. Autumn, spring are beautiful, winter is the only time we great to enjoy the tracery of the branches of trees but summer flowers with their perfume are so special. It is so joyous to celebrate seasons each with their special gifts.
Hi Lorinna, Hover over the second icon from the left above (In the blank comment box at the top of this thread) and it should say "image." Then choose the image on your computer and upload--for me it works best to have it in jpg format. The pic gets pasted in. If you want to include a comment, you can type that in before you select the image. Hope that helps!
