The earliest surviving photographic image (heliograph on a tin plate) were taken in 1826 or 1827 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce (1765 - 1833). This French inventor used a primitive camera, among his other inventions was one of the world's first internal combustion engines. Here it is, this earliest photo from 1826 or 1827, a view from a window in Saint-Loup-de-Varennes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. The photograph shows part of the buildings and surroundings from a high window.

Dear friends, it seems to me that today it is growing
The number of people who are tired
Digital works, therefore we mail artists
We will be more and more appreciated if you send
Original works that you can touch, and maybe
Even unique pieces, as in my case.
A loving hug. Bruno
