In 2019, I wrote on the IUOMA portal:
“If you want to get rid of excess postal art, you can donate your collection of postal art to the Museum of Moscow. With my participation in the Museum of Moscow, an archive of postal art for art historians and historians is being created. Art objects will be used for exhibitions. There is one problem - transporting your gift”.
The guys then responded to my suggestion and some sent their gifts to The Museum of Moscow. It's been five years. After Covid, amid the battles in Eastern Europe, there were some personnel changes in the museum sector. The Moscow Museum informed me that I have to pick up the Mail Art: they can't keep Mail Art. It's their choice. I negotiated for a long time and found an institution interested in Mail Art. So, The Garage Museum has taken over everything that was previously in The Museum of Moscow. Everything has been taken to the archive collection of The Garage Museum. My collection also goes to the same archive.
Here is the archive collection page:

The Garage Museum looks so interesting. I’m looking forward to exploring their exhibits and archives further. So much to learn! Thank you, Ilya, for your efforts. I can’t imagine being in charge of finding a home for and transporting an archive.

Hi Ilya - can you mail me the address of the museum so I can send the letterpress cards?
Best wishes
