I have twice "friended" people now on IUOMA and they turned out to be scammers in Africa asking for money, so BEWARE. Know a bit about someone before you OK them as a friend here....

As soon as a noewcomer at IUOMA turns out to be a scammer, they are removed and all their complete profile too. The scammers sometimes use fake addresses, so they are becoming cleverer too.....

Unfortunately, sometimes spammers come through. If I find out that they are sending out these kind of messages (with proof), they are immediately banned from this network and all their postings are removed. Sometimes an e-mail can slip through. Sorry for that.
