are there any volunteers for the research?

a few days ago they didn't want to receive my envelope at the post office.

The reason was the ADDRESS WRITTEN IN RED.

They say that any color can be used except red.

Red is supposedly for controllers.

If anyone has mail from me or anyone else addressed in red pen, please send me a photo.

I would also like someone to send me a mail-art addressed in red pen. Systems and rules should be broken if they are imposed without reason.

Well, you were about 12 hours too late for writing the address in red... i think i never tried out red on white yet but afaik there are no rules here that forbid it, other combinations like white on black also never were a problem... hmn, maybe i send you something else, lol

I'm 99 percent sure I wrote the address multiple times with a red pencil.

A very nice young girl with blond hair, a shy look and a magical smile (the worker at the post office), apologized to me several times, because she can't receive an address with a red letter.

Here we have not that rule...sure...but a letter is expenvise if its not white. I explain: if you send a letter of 20 gr in white envelope: 0.89 euro... the same letter in a yellow/green/red envelope: 1.03  euro

I think the problem of red color in adrees its because the machine cant not read it. 

Its very amazing see how that machines work. A lot of velocity, lot of letters for minute. I supouse its for that reason.

with us (Serbia), the prices are the same for everything, only the weight of the shipment matters.

In Japan and China, we are taught not to write our names in red ink. But I have received postal mails with my name  and  address written in red ink from abroad...
