Event Description

Over 100 works of 80 artists envelope the mail art movement from Latin America, Europe, America and the Caribbean met in the 1st Art Mail International Shows and Visual Poetry of Puerto Rico at an international claim a high to Stop Child Abuse.This collective displays account with important representatives of the movement as Clement Padin (Uruguay), Tulio Restrepo (Colombia), Cesar Reglero (Spain), Emilio Morandi (Italy), Keiyh a. Buchholz (USA), Dede van der Roove (Poland) Katerina Nikoltson, (Greece), Michel Della Vedova (France) and Edwin Velázquez (Puerto Rico).

The same has been cordination by the Caribbean Centre of Art Mail and Visual Poetry and Leida Rodriguez Vilá of the Puerto Rico Coalitions Artists with the collaboration of Fabiane Pianowski PHD in history, theory and art criticism at the University of Barcelona.

This international event is performed as part of the celebration in April of the month of children and prevention of abuse to minors and support for strengthening family ESCAPE which has excelled since its beginnings as one of the major institutions in Puerto Rico in intervention, treatment and prevention of family violence and child abuse Center management.
The exhibition opens to the public in general at 6: 00 PM on Thursday 11 March to 3 April 2010 at the Center of Information of the University Metropolitan of the Ana G.. Méndez Universitary System in Cupey
