Event Description

Between 24 and 31 May I will be holding a mini, one-man Tentoonstelling/Exhibition entitled "Een postkaaart per dag voor een week/A postcard a day for a week" at the Café Jenze in Alexander Battalaan 47A, Maastricht. (about 350 meters from the Station). I'll be in Maastricht for a few days attending the 'Mail2Maastricht' event. My very, very modest Exhibition is not meant to compete with 'M2M' at all. It just gives me a chance to show some of my collages at the bar I will be hanging out in. Do come and have a look while you're in Maastricht. I can usually be found near the dart board in Café Jenze, and will be only too pleased to buy you a drink. Last thing: the 'Postcards' aren't really postcards, and on some days there might be more than one of them on display.

'OUR MAN' (oh yeah!) had a truly great time in Maastricht. Mail2Maastricht was really good -- well organised, well attended, good performances, brilliant Exhibition, friendly folk involved, etc.

I hadn't realised this in advance, but M2M was part of a cultural weekend, and there were 58 other exhibitions going on (of which I managed to get to about 30).

Rod and his Gang did a fantastic job!

I'm going to try the concept on other Horeca establishments I find. Fame comes slowly, but there's a possibility of self-promotion (in that people rarely say 'no'). Regards
