Hi Bill Newbold, welcome to the asemic group!
What you propose sounds like a great idea. I would say go ahead and post some of the pieces. Some asemic writing groups can get bogged down in theoretical arguments about what is and what is not asemic and/or visual poetry. We've had those things happened and have evolved as a group to focusing on sharing art.
This group has always (imho) produced asemic-visual poetry hybrid work. So anything that is image-text is of great interest.
Just remember that the asemic concept is based on the paradox that it appears to be language or symbols but can't be read in a conventional way that you read text - but that doesn't mean it cannot be expressive!
NOW - the idea of Asemic Music is VERY interesting. Just this week I posted what I think could be considered an asemic musical score on Asemic Front. This is by Brent Bechtel.
So, Bill, just jump in any way you would like. Mail art is open and supportive. So it's not like a test or something.
WOW,, I am doing this dissertation on Sun Ra. I want to make a cup of tea and read your response here. nice
.
I wonder if asemic writing or asemic musical manuscript is not exactly a meaningful short-hand but maybe sort of a mysteriouso hand? :)
