Dear artist,

We would be very pleased if many of you would participate in our mail art call “Solidarity.”

And in the spirit of the well-known quotes by Jean-Luc Godard — “It is not enough to make political films; one must make films politically” and “Everything is political” — we would also appreciate it if you take note of the additional statement: “ART IS POLITICAL, EVEN WHEN IT DOES NOT WANT TO BE POLICAL.”
