Fascinating stamps from Alan Brignull in the UK

Shout it out : Mail Art has arrived in Greece from jolly ol' England!

and with (is it for real?) a stamp of the Queen...not too young here.

Also on the envelope's flip side , Alan placed three "classical" stamps:

the first Greek postage stamp of Hermes, 100+ years old, only 20 ΛΕΠΤΑ!:

A vintage French stamp:

and what appears to be a "REAL" stamp , or artistamp, too:

Inside some info and Greek:

and a nice poetic bit of W.H.Auden:

Thank you, Alan, you shall hear the postman's knock soon :-)

I'm glad you liked it, Katerina. The real stamp is really real, from a set issued to mark the queen's jubilee which showed portraits at various ages. That is why it doesn't have the usual queen's head icon, because it has a real photo of her. The denomination 'E' is for Europe but they don't use that any more so I am glad it was accepted.

The 'Un Real' stamp is 'real' too, from the Argentine republic of Corrientes. A not very good copy of the French Ceres design. Of course all of them are just pictures cut out of magazines, it's not a really real 'un real'  ;-)
