Yes Erica, I also like looking at what other collage people use in their work. I like really old paper or paper that is filled with strange images. Just today I picked up a book about how to swing dance, I think I'm going to get a lot out of that.

Awesome, Jon! It was very interesting (and fun!) to see how you work. I've always wondered how you create your "tape collages." Also, it's always fun to see what artists (especially collage artists) collect for use in their work.

Arac, thanks for saying hello. If you send me something you will for sure make it into the book. I will also send you something back, I promise!

Wow, I've never seen anything like this and you're so fast at it.  Very cool! I'm going to try and send something your way soon so maybe I can make it into your book too ;)

I like this funny and uncomplicated technique with the tape.

Thanks for the comments there guys. I think I'm going to do another one of these, one for the collection as a whole. Thanks for the support.

Great video, Jon! No matter how patiently you explained the tape technique in writing, I didn't get it exactly. Here you are doing it, and I understand completely. And it's great documentation - you look like a pro ripping and putting the collage together. I think at the IUOMA you're always thought of as being the inventor of this technique, even if you're not. So it's all very cool.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. If you find anything I would be more than willing to do a little trading with you. Thanks for saying hello.

Enjoyed the video very much. Those are some beautiful floors. Very interesting watching you work and how you organize your materials. I too like old weird books. I'll be on the look out for odd/old reference books.
