whats going on? is there a shift in using this platform?

Comment by Zack on September 14, 2024 at 4:53pm: checking out William's suggestion, i did a little experiment and can safely report that the number is indeed just those who online who are 'connected' for chat.

there is a setting one must 'turn on' to be available for chatting, so the number posted down there is reflective only of those members who have activated it, rather than all members currently on line.
