Bubbles and Dean has a big fight over the name. Dean wanted Dean Villo, but bubbles wanted him to have his own identity. Good thing they didn't have a daughter, Bubbles Marks would have led to huge credibility problems.

Now there's a challenge theme ... I'll work on it.

And a very Happy Birthday and Halloween to Dark Wall.  Happy to see you both have a good sense of humor.  I must admit, I was worried.

Yes, I know DVS.  I didn't want you to find out any other way, but it's true, I'm your father.   And for Bubbles, well we both know who she is.  I'm proud of you son, you write some very funny blogs which I read everyday.

Happy Halloween my boy.  Love, Dad

I drove through Skaneateles on Monday and know it well. The Sherwood was formerly the Bates Hotel? (Everyone realizes the Bates Motel was in Hitchcock's Psycho?) Haven't been to the Sherwood recently but don't ever recall a Bubbles. (This is hitting too close to home.)

I need to stop googling! Damn.

No Marie, it wasn't a Love hotel.  However it was indeed in a hotel.  It was the Bates Hotel in Skaneateles, NY.  The charming lady (Bubbles) was the watress in a very old fashioned restaurant which was part of the hotel.  After I left, they changed the name to Sherwood Inn as the "Bates Hotel" didn't have a very good ring to it.  I wonder if Bubbles still works there ...

I second Marie! I remember very well Jen Staggs' transparent postcards. Jon Foster, I guess he did some. Jenn "rode the pony into the barn" with those.
