Taidgh's Whiskey River

Do you see the "whiskey river?" I do. I am just in love with Taidgh's drawing. They seem to me to be very whimsical. I would even venture to say they are Seussian. Perhaps the Dr. Seuss of Ireland?

Taidgh (BTW, how the hell do you say his name out loud? Is it like "tad," or "tag?" I can't figure it out...) told me he experimented with some stream of conciseness poetry. This turned out wonderful. He said the words could be read together or separately.

"/into lonely white sky of syllables" I just love the "Record" poem. Taidgh is so talented. I am truly honored to receive three short poems!!!

He also included a B&W drawing and a color postcard! What a find!!!

Taidgh tells me in this letter that he rambles. He does. But: I just love it!

Thanks Dustin for blogging! Thank you for your kind comments! I just knew my bubble wrap would go missing. Oh well! I think the postal system doesn't like bubble wrap on the outside of an envelope. It was covering the paper and library stamp. No worries about my name, it's tricky, not only pronouncing it, but also spelling it! I'm always coming up with new ways to tell people how to say it. Here's one way to pronounce my name: Thai found in Thailand and g for goat. Put them both together and you have Taidgh! :P I surprise myself sometimes!
