Guys I'm so glad that you liked these cards. I got the idea rather randomly, accidently sticking a piece of tape to a magazing that it shouldn't have stuck to. Since then (about a week ago) I can't stop doing things in this fashion. I have about forty or fifty things ready to go that are very similar to these couple of cards. Right now I'm thinking of ways to add things in to complicate the process.

I will check out Tillier's work, De Villo-thanks so much for the suggestion.

This and the piece Karen Champlin received yesterday have me totally impressed. Of course, after hours Karen and I had e-mails going back and forth about whether "retro" was accurate in her post. Jon, I would say if you ever get a chance, check out Thierry Tillier's work - from Belgium and easy to find on Google - I see some connections and he has some connections to punk to. The Champ and I can get into these discussions, but we ended up re-affirming how much we liked this "new line." Thanks for posting Natasha.

Jon is doing some really interesting things by applying and peeling away tape- the residue of the image leaves a shadow/fragment on the adhesive- this is a really hauntingly cool effect.
