Mail-art by IUOMA member Snooky the Amazing Mail-Art Dog (Port Washington, Wisconsin, USA)

November 23, 2010 - Looking at the list, one of my most faithful mail-art friends is Snooky the Amazing Mail-Art Dog of Wisconsin. Snooky's exchange with the kids in Belgium is one of the best things I have ever seen in the network, and in other days some great things came into the network from some kids from Belgium. Snooky found time to send me (above) a book mark and a rubber stamp. Perfect! I just joined the IUOMA Rubber Stamp group. So I tried it out and it looks great:

This is an "All About Me" stamp, and maybe it is from the time of the formation of the Self-Absorption, Ltd. Group? Snooky, I see a lot of dogs getting into mail-art these days. They're great for sure, but Snooky will always be my #1. Thanks. You're definitely on the list to receive from my Synthetic Roadkill Series.
Mail-art word for the day: Red (TYCP)
Favorite girl band: Suzy's Floozies (MG kept her attitude)
Weather Report: Winter approaches - think south

Yes Marie, big holiday tomorrow - and more time for blogging! I can't wait to get to your TCG chapter. That project has so many dimesions in terms of the chapters themselves and how we all react to them. "Stay hungry my friend" - you get it.

Oh yes, it's Thanksgiving over there! Happy Thanksgiving!

Snooks - can you tell me how I get a roadkill stamp? I'm into this thing with Diane Keys where I'm trading roadkill art. My synthetic roadkill is questionable. I'll probably drop some in the mail for you to check out too. But a stamp would be perfect. Have a happy holiday - but I think we'll probably have a chance to talk.

Snooker - that is sure one cool stamp. I remember when you were just a pup scanning Angie Cope's mail-art. A regular canus scanus. This just goes to show in mail-art anything is possible. I tried to post a picture of you on this blog, but it wouldn't take for some reason. Happy Thanksgiving, Snooks.

Love the ME stamp and what you did with it!
