Unusual experience yesterday, opening the mailbox to one (1) priceless envelope resting there. No bills, no direct mail, nothing but this one envelope. Apologies for the drama, see for yourself. Painted and collaged page from a book. Enough said. Thank you Nancy. Really, really like this.

Ha, maybe they do, Erni. If so, it's not from study but via osmosis that such ideas could sneak into my work. Mostly I like people to see what they see (like you just did) and not so much what was in my mind when working. Or might have been. Or not.

Yes diane, i know what you mean. the boxes remind me of something from childhood but so much more. scrabble pieces or hop scotch. The text is a mystery. Just enough showing through to want to see more.

I keep being drawn back to those three yellow boxes.  love the way the lines are drug into the paint as almost an afterthought. It IS good seeing her work again!
