Older IMAGES only available at GREATLY REDUCED resolution

Did I miss an announcement?

I first noticed some people's avatar images are "fuzzy". Suddenly all older-posted images are only available to view at greatly reduced resolution. What is going on?

UPDATE 17 NOV 2023 (MST is -7 GMT): Now the images are "normal".
