At GU HQ the letter licker has been working overtime today to get mail out.

The Theme started with a stamp series that Royal Mail released a few months ago, so I stocked up.

I love a project, it's definitely about the journey, the research and the feeling of excitement when you see it come together.

Alas, there has to be a limit to a bumper send out and there were far more people on my list than the number 30 I'd set myself... So, I put everyones names in the mail art mixer. It was all I could do to keep it fair.

While the gathering and creating has been slowly going on behind the scenes, the final assembling was quick by comparison and completed today in time for the last post.

Doesn't look very exciting does it? Until the 1st envelope arrives, the contents are a closely guarded secret.

Fingers crossed all 30 make their destinations. Good luck to all who were entered into the draw!

Thank you, so much. #7 arrived yesterday. I wasn't sure who it was from as I haven't been so regular in following along here on IUOMA. I've been quite engaged with the grand-girl, Miss Z lately.

Hi, Gü,

Thank you so much for number 24 which arrived today. Your photos of the 'assembly line' are great, and the finished product is amazing. I love those stamps, too, and love the fact that you based this series of mail art sendings around it.
