A new secret from Frieder Speck arrived a few days ago. He named it "Thinking about words" and emphasized that this one was REALLY secret, so I first thought about not blogging it at all, and just giving Nancy a hint about it ... but I didn't want to stretch things - and it's just tooooo wonderful. 

It's an accordeon-binded piece with great combinations of Frieders own paintings and part of a picture "Gossip" from Norman Rockwell, where a secret is forwarded from one person to another. 

 

 

 

On the back are some very sweet paintings and wordplays in German with the word "secret", "Geheimnis", one is even so clandestine that Frieder couldn't paint it at all, it's just a black box. 

 

Frieder, I already thanked you, but again: It's really fabulous, thank you very much! Und dass es so schnell da war, ist doch großartig! LG Svenja

Out-of-this-world great, great work, Frieder. What an innovative idea, and so interesting to choose Rockwell. And very nice blog, Svenja. If you hadn't posted it I might have been quite upset, if I had a way to know about it, which I wouldn't. :--}
