The Clown Lady arrived from spopod! I am crazy about the Clown Lady - there is something about her proportions, in addition to her make-up and dress, of course, that just slays me! See how her little feet were wrapped around to the back side? She's such a clown, that Clown Lady!
Inside the delicious envelope were stamps made by spopod with her signature zentangles. And the lining of the envelope is interesting. (I'm ashamed to broadcast my mail-pigginess: you can see that I didn't wait to get to my desk to use my letter-opener; I HAD to open it right away, and made a mess of it. Wahhh! Lesson learned.) What a treat - thank you, spopod!
A rhino arrived from Farstarr, on a sturdy piece of textured cardboard, (a book endpaper) and it was stamped "URGENT!" which makes sense, because you don't want a rhino rampaging through the postal system for longer than he has to, right?
Mandy used some of the 56 stamps that she acquired from a butcher shop in PA! (I'm dyin' of jealousy here.) And check out my new last name: "Beef Bones." Yeah, baay-bee! There are fabulous old postage stamps on here - oh, yum. The nurse...swoon!
I had a good laugh at my mail box with this one! Thanks, Farstarr!
