A few years ago I formed an association of contemporary art called ASAC, was the first President, organised a couple of international art exhibitions and then resigned. I am about to be thrown out of the association because I am critical of the way it has subsequently developed -- and you would be too. So now ASICK rises from the ashes, and here is a non-poster of it's non-exhibition.

This is what usually happens at the opening of one of my exhibitions, Carolyn. The Assistant Mayor of Sigean, France (where I live) who is responsible for Culture makes a speech that is often too long. Then some other dignitary (sic) will say something in 'art-speak' that is also too long. Meanwhile all the visitors to the opening are hanging around waiting for some food and drink. My reply to the speeches goes along the following lines: ''Thank you Mr Assistant Mayor. Thank you Mr Dignitary. Thank you everyone else connected with this exhibition. Thanks to me too. And now (and everybody joins in....in English!j ', 'The Bar is Open!'. Then there is a stampede for free food and drink

To be thrown out of the club, Linda, you first have to be adlitted to it. Look at ly 'Groucho Marks (sic) Group', and, if you like, apply to join.
