In 1995 an image of Cavellini’s performance with Ed Higgins III, from 1981, made the album cover of Tripping Daisy’s second album “I am an Elastic Firecracker,” which combined psychedelia and pop.

The second image depicts the Dallas, Texas band inside one of Cavellini’s famous Mail Art designs.

The guy with the red paint most spent ages in bath trying to get that stuff off. I hope it was just poster paint.
