From: Keith Chambers a.k.a. Amalgamated Confusion (0070-0520, 0138-0720 & 0148-0820)

Updated: 08-23-20 - Added photos and text for the postcard from July 30, which was initially omitted from the post.

In recent months I received a few postcards from Keith Chambers, who also goes by Amalgamated Confusion (Anaheim, CA). The more recent piece is listed first - see below.

This first postcard features "Our Forest Home," art by Keith Chambers.

The next card arrived on July 30. On the backside of the postcard Keith writes about a timely issue. With the 2020 presidential election around the corner, our country is in the midst of the Covid-19 and civil unrest. He makes a point about the pandemic. We are all in it together, yet we're not united in our reaction to the need for face masks.

Keith writes, "Together we dance macabre not in step, nor to a shared beat, but flailing, stomping one another's feet while wrapped in thoughtlessness." The art on front reflects this sentiment.

The third card is a souvenir postcard for the Liberty Bell. It certainly belongs in our IUOMA-ning group, "Boring Postcards." On the card Keith wrote the following Latin phrase, "Memoria Chartam Esse Odiosis," which translates to "Memory Card To Be Boring."

Thanks so much, Keith!

I, too, received a Forest Home, from Keith. With all the fires out in California, this made me shudder.
