Which brings up a good question.  Do they have the 4th of July in Canada?

Very clever man you are.  Yes, ever calendar has the 4th of July except for the Chinese calendar which has Ying Bang day.  The 4th of July sounds complicated there.  In France, the 14th of July is the 14th of July and that's it.  And it looks like it will be awhile before they give up the traditional Military parade to fancy colour floats.

Dean, there is a 4th July in every country ;) Even France - just check your calendar.

Kat, the big fireworks in Columbus happens the night before the 4th, and then many of the neighborhoods have their own smaller local celebration on the 4th itself. Except when the 4th is on a Sunday or Monday, then the celebration is on the Friday before (so the city doesn't have to pay the cops overtime to police the event).
