It is a banana?

It is a banana tail birdie from Stipygoose,

and with (washi) instructions on the back:

but what? where? is the so-called "banana band"?

Well, good thing I cut open the "bird-'o-prey" envelope:

and saw these guys...and falco tinnunculus, not so coolus,  stealing the banana band:

Ok, now all is well, (and ready for Banana Day, too):
