The Haptic Werewolf greets us, and carefully the wrappings must be cut...art-of-the-wrappings:

Inside:

Aha! An Inspiration Box!

Whose Inspiration Box...why not for Herr Haptic Erni?

Oh, Erni, for ANDY WARHOL! Yay!...it has arrived !

And it is not simply a little staue of the famous man, but the "throne"  is a stand,

and within the stand...a very important boekie! What wonderful revelations in this boekie!

Words of Wisdom from Andy:

Oh, there is much more....will have to post later perhaps!

What inspiration! And Andy likes "thinking" about Erni's art too!

And he will join blue mouse and friend to tell his impressions on mail art....like these bar codes!

Marvelous treasure! Thank you muchly, dear Erni!

It is the smallest of booklet in the stand...but it is super filled with wisdom by Andy Warhol. i am still thrilled to read it and then spend a day with each quote. It is really an "inspiration box" , Ernie...thank you soooooo much xxx

Yes I think Erni is following Andy's wisdom "keeping busy"! :)

Katerina, I love your new "review group of mail art", has it any name...?

No doubt there is much truth in that. Both outlooks interest me because they speak (I think) to letting ourselves be receptive--to allowing ordinary life in--although in different ways.

I'm a big fan of the Andy doll. The "Erni Baer Fan Club" stamp (?) on the top scan looks great! Is he using stamps for this?

This is a major treasure, and a great blog, Katerina. Love the quotes--yes, Warhol was probably a cooler guy than  his uneven but definitely high-profile reputation indicated at the time. "You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you" just went into my notebook. We might already believe such a thing, but it can't hurt and will probably help to have the reminder for shut-down times when it's hard to see out.

Within the little book, beside words of wisdom, there are also Warhol art...tiny and two set of stickers (soon to be on mail art ;-)
